Muzzy, in future show the lead-up for context. The RR was indicating but we don't get to see whether they were moving before you were visible to them or when the indication started. One thing a lot of muppets do is indicate as they move, which must be especially bad for bikers, but we don't get to see whether that's the case here.

1:05 that's 90% the police cars fault. Regardless of blue light runs, emergency service vehicles still have to drive with duty and care for other road users in a SAFE manor and that was completely reckless by the police car and they should be held MOSTLY liable. This is what the UK has become. Very poor driving by the police officer. Should the grey car have slowed down and looked? Absolutely they should have, but the police car was even worse.
@Tarrer1235 сағат бұрын
The police driver was 100% at fault, if they are going to drive through a red light they need to ensure they are doing so safely, making sure all other road users have seen them and acted accordingly. This police officer did not and just kept flying through the red light, thinking that he had his blues and two on could just go. He was wrong. The BMW driver, on the other hand, did nothing wrong.

It's rather convenient that Muzzy's clip was cut to just as the collision happened, and shows none of the build up of the other cars positioning before he arrived at it. Also was riding a bit fast considering the conditions and a car in the middle of the lane, which you were intent on barging past. I do hope he's ok, but totally avoidable.
@AlistairWoolley6 сағат бұрын
The first clip the cammer must've done something to annoy the Audi driver. Before claiming innocence with the police perhaps that person needs to tell the truth. The police will want both sides of the story a concept missed on the cammer. The Audi driver wasn't being reckless joining the motorway. People need to not annoy people first and then get so high and mighty when they are confronted. I dont like drivers like that cammer who behave like that. I'm sure the police will see that the cammer was at fault and reality will prevail.
@cloudmaker6 сағат бұрын
I thought Police drivers were taught to be cautious going through red lights, this one appeared to be reckless not taking into account a lane he couldn't see, the car going through the green obviously had the thought it was his right of way rather than proceeding if safe to do so, camera could hear the sirens coming but of course most have the windows up music on and what's outside their little box doesn't concern them. Thanks for using mine Dashflix.

@@real-eyes-realise-real-lies Hello there sorry to hear you've hung up you're leathers, I'm hoping to carry on for a few more years yet even got a selection of smaller bikes for when that time comes. Cold fingers are not nice and if your not comfortable while you are riding it can really make the journey a horrid experience. Now I've never had heated grips, actually never had heated anything but for hands I have my old leather gauntlets, had them for at least 15 years proper things, anyway I found that wearing those disposable latex like gloves under them really made a difference, I'd change to a fresh pair at every fill up or rest stop. I know what you mean about the glare and as I'm not a sunglasses wearer my last new helmet included a flip down sun visor, I was sceptical at first but it really does help. All the best.

The second clip with the police car crashing. The officers seemed to forget that although they may pass a red traffic light when responding to an emergency they still have to proceed safely. Thing is it will be the 3rd party that will be prosecuted & the police driver will get away scottfree.

Supposedly highly trained officer responding extremely dangerously resulting in injury to the public. The officer will face very minor disciplinary if any and will be on full pay for an investigation that can go on for years! The 3rd party will probably struggle to receive compensation through insurance as Police drag their trotters and have no regards for the public only themselves. No accountability.
@MRCAGR17 сағат бұрын
An emergency vehicle on blue lights has to treat a red light as a give way, not a carte blanche to treat it as if it’s not there. The police officer driving will be suspended from driving duties and reported to the police complaints authority. Also the police driver could be prosecuted for dangerous driving.
