At 4.40 the artic is trying to turn right into ASDA Longsight, the car turning right has come too far onto the road and yellow box and the car behind is to close as well. the truck was moving very slow to turn right, so therefore this car had time to pull out and make its turn. The truck driver is not going to wait all day forProcrastination by car drivers. To ease move, the car could of moved to the left and given the truck more room.

4:02. Some unprofessional truck drivers think the bigger your vehicle is, the more right of way you have. But actually, the bigger your vehicle is, the more care you need to take.

That's what happens at 4.30, when you enter the yellow box junction and your exit is blocked. The cammer here helped to cause the problem with the HGV.

I think they moved into a gap that was too small. it's hard to say for sure, but it looks quite close, so the cammer was probably pissed they stole their braking space. They were also tail-gating the bus.

@@konradgreen2567 Although not ideal, there was no danger here was no issue. How much braking space do you think a car needs at that speed? It was a section where merging was necessary.

Spot on there, they look like they were taking up a perfectly good overtaking position on the bus as it exits a n/s bend!! Nothing to see, move along please 🤣

That second clip - ouch! Though I do think that driver had plenty of time to slow down without needing to sound the horn. Anyway, I don't care about that - I just passed my driving test!

Hoskins. The white car was actually correct (for once). When approaching a roundabout, if the road you want is past the 12 oclock then it's a RIGHT turn, so right hand lane. Pity he forgiot the indicators. You being in the left lane were wrong and should have turned left.

1:18 ''all accident caused by rushers'' I don't think that is true. What I have noticed is most dash cam incidents seem to be "Confusion , Distraction , Complacency, and Stupidity My driving rules are "patience , respect , common sense" --- served me well for over 50 years . More arse than class but ................. #4 is the 2-3 seconds behind the vehicle in front --- in fact I'm counting the 1 , and 2 , and 3 very often but it does come under ''common sense''

1:58,, cammer dives up the side of a works transit and seems surprised he's getting cut up by the van, really!, what exactly did he expect, he's a white van they do that, 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️..maybe slow down under warp factor five and drive normally and give yourself more time to react.

No. It's a cycle contraflow lane. If it was a cycle lane for the other direction it would be on the opposite side of the carriageway

Well, look at it like this; one cycle lane, set out on a one way street is an excellent idea if you teach others that it is a cycle lane that can be used to come down the road as well as up, provided you have an ambulance on site. Two ego-centric cyclists coming down one cycle lane, from two directions. Who gives way? Who dangerously goes into the road, possibly to be squashed by a car racing down the road? Yes, the cyclist was an ego-centric hypocrite, but are they not all like this? He was riding down a road that he had no right to ride down.

5:28 can't see any reason to confirm or deny what the Audi did was OK or not. There is no markings on any entrance onto the roundabout, and all split into 2 lanes

The exit only had one lane, so the audi should treat it like a standard roundabout and use the left lane to continue ahead

@@DashCamSheffield there's an image connected to 185 showing this, also on the theory test website it tells you the correct procedures for roundabouts. I don't see anywhere implying otherwise? It only says "unless signs and markings show otherwise"

@@ShifteyCS how can someone know when entering a roundabout the number of lanes on the exit, in order to choose the correct (unmarked) lane to enter the roundabout? Audi was being a bit of a d*ck, though.

@@huwlewis9059 in this case there was a sign showing a left, straight and right exit on a sign, if there is absolutely no signage whatsoever and someone doesn't know which lane to be in for any particular reason, the safest bet would be to go into the right lane and go around the roundabout if necessary, but 99% of the time there will be an image of the roundabout before you arrive at the entry

Stupid road lay out. Looks to me that the motorist was trying to park in any of the bays on the left, like where the van is. To be able to get into a bay at some point you would need to drive in the cycle lane. It could of been made a complete non issue but doing the sensible thing doesn't give you a clip for views and revenue.

@2:30 Cyclist is in the wrong here. When the cycle lane ends there are give way lines. Thus the cyclist is entering a live lane & must give way to vehicles approaching in that lane just as you should when entering a road from a side road. Very common mistake by cyclists when cycle lanes end with give way lines

Every lane is a cycle lane. Only person on that road capable of killing somebody was the motorist speeding and close pass overtaking on a blind bend. Don’t give unsafe advice.

I love how to used 'think'. Legally, the HGV has right of way/priority. Morally & physically, the HGV couldn't make the turn and should have waited

@@davebadger100 There was another vehicle to his left waiting to go straight ahead, he couldn't just aim for it and expect it to magically get out of his way, like the lorry driver thought he could to everybody.

If the lorry driver waited, the next car would just move up to the line and block his route and he'd end up waiting a long time causing a tail back behind. Sometimes you just have to be assertive.

I do wish you'd refrain from shoeing the cyclist videos, they are unimportant and should not even be allowed to use the roads. You show too many of them so I'm unsubscribing.
