RS6 cars are especially difficult to tpac, They have a very effective stability control system along with a very wide wheelbase and clever 4 wheel drive. Many have run flat inserts and are furiously quick. In the right hands its a formidable beast. Not allowed to use push bumpers unless they are homologated. They are considered a great risk to Peds and other road users.

Traction control doesnt cause mucb issue for us with tpac. Its normaly when we try and do a PIT manouver and the the tracrion control makes it very hard to succesfully do on a RS6.

In the clip featuring the pizza restaurant robbery the caption said about the American police cars have “push bumpers”, however the British police don’t have them on most vehicles because the average British criminal doesn’t go around reversing into police vehicles, they usually just run and that’s because British cars can go faster than 55 mph and can outrun or at least make a good attempt at escaping, and British roads are not straight slabs of concrete going on for miles and miles.

@@TA-wg9oi T-PACs require 4 trained units and a dog unit, Its not easy to gather those resources in a short pursuit, and we don't have ram bars so if a police car does run into somone, it doesn't completely destroy legs and kill anything in a pram. Unlike US cop cars, The amount of fatalities caused by those things is scary... all muscle cars that can't go round a corner more than 40mph also automatics!

The chase with the RED AUDI RS6 is a very difficult car to try and stop. The Audi RS6 is a very very fast and has has the Audi Quattro all wheel drive system. Even with one tyre flat the officer’s made contact but the Audi and it hardly moved when it was rammed multiple times.

I have had four bikes stolen and have.once been rammed of the road by bike thives and been chased half way across London buy other bike thieves

It’s not as straight forward but in that instance it seemed like the most logical thing to do. No pedestrians out little or no traffic. Rather than take damage and do nothing (crumble zones and bumpers versus an engine block and functional vital parts) It was more beneficial to try and spin the off to end the chase. These boys were reckless snd dangerous. It has to stop early. It wouldn’t always be the case though. Imagine in a busy town centre it would be better to keep distance and try and get a helicopter out

Regards the bikes lining up and (yes) racing it is irrelevant the speed. It’s the anti-social element. Sociable driving means any such activity conducted on roads not designed or designated for racing can be regarded anti social. Detach the action from a a reflection of yourself. It’s not a reflection of you being a terrible person or criminal but what is a motor heads idea of fun is not the regular road users idea of fun. The copper is correct I have to say. They aren’t bad guys in the bikes also it’s just the way it is. Innocent little moment but it’s not always that way or for all other road users

Everyone knows that a police car cannot follow if it’s radiators burst and that’s why you see a lot of cars ramming the front of police cars to attempt to do this….. also some of the most successful getaway vehicle haven’t been these fast flash Audis and that it’s been big jeeps or tipper vans because they can take a lot more abuse and have a lot more ramming power etc.

Self drive car owner sets off on his own from A to Z 200 miles away .sadly at P he has heart attack. How is the vehicle to be stopped? All vehicles should have a system by which the police can , by obtaining a code from DVLA , stop the vehicle in safety. The end of dangerous police pursuits. Implement in police helicopters first so ground patrols can be warned of imminent stop. The Americans can do this now with rover vehicles on distant planets !

It was my RS6 in the video , I worked my fingers to the bone for that car. I had it 4 months and polished it in and out weekly I really looked after it so well. The car was wrecked! The gearbox or clutch was ruined and it was destroyed basically, I probably lost 10K because of some low lives stealing it

The UK Cops have tiny emasculated little sirens don't they? Their car's factory horns are MUCH louder and no standard car horn is rated above 118dB therefore their sirens are putting out less than 118dB. Standard minimum for Ambulances in California by way of example is a constant 121dB @1M from in front and 118dB @1M from the side at any point in the tone cycle after 6 minutes continuous operation. ( HornSpeakers become less efficient as they heat up and must maintain 121dB for 6 minutes) These Whelen sirens sound tinny and horrible. Bring back the two tone air horns!

Section 59 police reform act only allows the pigs to seize the vehicle, not destroy it. It’s picked up by the recovery agent and taken to their pound where it stays until the owner goes and collects it (after paying recovery costs). Literally if it was in working hours you could follow it back to the pound and get it straight away. It’s only an inconvenience and cost.

I don,t like the text commentary on this video. The spelling and grammar is hard to understand. The Police weren’t at fault, the manner the motorbikes were being driven was antisocial. There’s not enough of road traffic police these days are too few. The British cops dont use the pit manoeuvre often, so unlike USA we rarely have roads empty enough for it to be safely used! All UK police vehicles should be fitted with Ram-bars/Pit bars for obvious reasons. The justice system in the UK stinks, sentences are far too light given the dangerous circumstances in some of these scenes. Listening to the communication differences between the UK police force and the American police to their control units is, to say the least, laughable. By the way at 7:27 caught is spelt Court.

I like this question and have always thought to myself if I would want my car back after it’s been in a pursuit. when the vehicle has been in the hands of every idiot that doesn’t even have a driver’s license, or used by a driver who just want to see how fast it will go, or how much air they can get going over a small bridge. Then the police chase, I definitely wouldn’t want it back. It would never feel the same and probably wouldn’t drive the same.

I am so sick to death with cars ramming police cars so they need to end the pursuit. It’s,like having kings and queens still in the UK. Do we ever move to the future? in other countries they have stainless steel guard rails at the front of all police cars. You know why????? FFS we are so behind other countries. Oh and why do police cars remain stationary when the criminals in front hit them? Can you not reverse or move to the side? perhaps more training? at here is nothing worse than watching these criminals get away. We want them caught so I’d be happy to pay to have the guard rails on police cars but we are very slow learners in the UK which is why we still have a royal family. One last point. Why can’t police cars ram the car? it took until 2021/2022 to change uk laws to allow police cars to ram mopeds. In America they ram the cars so why not in the UK? Accelerating fast on a bike could be dangerous under certain conditions (lack of duty of care or unsafe riding) this would incl trying to drag off your mates, hence you could booked for dangerous driving/riding a serious offence, look up the road law😀😀😀
