Man, honestly, this is depressing. I get that Thorin's persona is antagonistic, but the nature and quantity of the comments and abuse he gets back is quite grotesque. I wish people would actually take him on his points and conversationally spar with him in a fun way, instead of making all these obviously bad-faith arguments or interpretations of his words, and character assassinating him against them. It's sad. Thorin, a lot of these people are likely not intelligent enough (socially, or otherwise) to /get/ what you do in the scene. And you've been looking quite genuinely sad about it for a little while now. You said something about Loco years ago, you said your banter was "hurting him", but he didn't acknowledge it in the moment, and that led to a temporary breakdown in your working relationship. It looks like this situation is hurting you (it would be a very understandable! It's shit). But, perhaps make some kind of change, for your happiness. Maybe stop reading all of them from every pleb and just read the ones from prominent figures. I don't know. Wishing a speedy recovery
