Thank you all for your guesses! It was so much fun to have every one involved and take the time to read all of your amazingly kind comments in the middle of season! Our first place guess is @tammibaker with 7.92! And second place is @tracybarger7822. With 7.85lbs! There were so many close guesses but no ties! Super excited to get these fleeces cleaned and to you guys!🎉

That’s beautiful spinning wool. My grandfather always said the first “ lambing” wool was the finest. All those added hormones pumping into a young pregnant ewe’s blood , just as when we say a pregnant woman has that healthy “ glow” …those added hormones produce the best wool.

Wow what a large "lambs fleece" 8 plus pounds. Loved watching this video and how you were excited and showed us the movement from the baby. Wondering how close to lambing she is, with that huge udder. She seems like a very mellow lady.
@Gimpygladiator Жыл бұрын
As I've learned from @SheepishlyMe ... that udder "bloom" means she's within a few days of delivering. And that spa treatment might make it easy to maneuver for the birth (not to mention a hot summer with a little one attached)!

Oh bless her heart…to be pregnant, full of baby and to be put into uncomfortable yoga poses..I was feeling like “Ohhh I’m gonna explode….” 😂🤣❤️ She’s beautiful and that fleece! Wow!

I was thinking that, but maybe she knows she's got a Texas summer coming up before she has that baby. The way she laid there after the salon time was up😅

So sweet!! Lamb is feeling the "tickle" of the vibration from the shears! Reminds me of when I was about 7 months pregnant with my 1st son.... we went to an airshow and I was standing right in front of a Harrier as it was lifting off... the vibrations were really strong and suddenly my son started kicking like crazy!! I showed Hubby and the people around me noticed and I ended up with a whole group of people laughing and watching as my stomach went bonkers!!! BTW---he turned out to be an awesome soccer player!!! LOL

KZbin started running your Shorts in my feed because I love animal-rescue and related type videos. First of all I love your gentleness with the animals. Plus your skill is amazing, you can do large swaths in one sweep and you're so careful around the extremities, face, etc. I appreciate your commenting, also, helps us understand some of the technicalities we are seeing. Thank you for publishing these videos. (P.S. I wish I was in as good a shape as you are, the results of such a physically-challenging profession!)

Ii truly enjoy your method of shearing. You try to take off the yearly growth in one peace while others dont do so, they chop here or there.
