I have two and we used to load ours up and take them to the neighbors sheep farm when she had her "many more" sheep done. Now I just shear them myself because shearers don't regularly come out for one or two "pet" animals. Also, from personal experience these ladies are MUCH kinder to the animals. When mine were done professionally they had cuts and nicks everywhere. Everywhere. They were sprayed with so much medical spray it looked like they just came from a hospital instead of like nice new sheared sheep.

My husband does graphics lettering on emergency vehicles. He designs, makes, and installs the lettering on site which usually works out to 12 hour days, also. The thing he hates most is unpacking his stuff when he gets home. By then he’s hot, tired, and ready to just sit down in a nice cool chair. The dog and I usually go out to help him unload, talk to him about his day, bring him cold water to make it a bit easier. He’s been doing this since 1982 and keeps saying he’s ready to retire but I know he’ll die with a paint brush in his hand.
