Unbox, Assemble and review of Aosom Pawhut Dog trailer

We got this dog trailer on Amazon for our ill husky, Rox. She passed away on September 15, 2018. It takes time for me to adjust life without her. I am glad we purchased Aosom Pawhut dog trailer for her, she enjoyed every ride in her last summer.

Thank you for the feedback. Rox was a very sweet husky. I got her when I started my first formal job, I had no friend and family in that city. She was my only friend. In 2014, I brought her and Brownie to Canada, she was very quiet in the carrier, just waited for me in the airport luggage area. That was a very long flight and she didn't pee in the carrier, until we arrived our new home. Guess what? She saw snow next day morning, that was her first time to see snow, she ran in snow with a very big smile.

Ebikes are popular in Toronto after the pandemic. Ebike is considered as a bike. So I would like to share my experience with you. Few years ago, my first ebike was stolen in less than 10 mins in downtown Toronto. It was lunch time, so many people walked on the street. My partner walked into a tall building and locked my ebike right outside of the building. It was stolen. So we bought our second ebike and also purchased a strong lock, master lock Street Cuffs Lock. I only purchased a 22 inches cuff lock. I am short and easy to squat to lock my ebike. Thank you for the comment. We are sooooo happy to have her in our life. We took her to go camping three times a year since we came to Canada and even 2018 she still went camping with us for 3 times. Her leaving was heart broken for me and my boyfriend, it took us 1 year to heal our heart until we got Pinot, our new husky puppy. Our another remaining husky is 11 years old, and we both think he is very lonely since Rox left. Now he is very very happy, plays with Pinot in the yard at least 3 times a day. Pinot keeps him active and run. Thanks again. xxx

Ok, good video the only thing I’d suggest is you go change the way you applied the safety scrap at the end of installation to the bike. That’s supposed to wrap around the frame of the bike in case the cuppler ever fails and falls off the trailer will still be attached by that rope. It’s very important to have that installed correctly and if you post a video like this I’d hope you would want to show the best way to install so others don’t do it wrong as well. I wouldn’t trust my dogs life to only 1 HAND tightened screw.

Thank you for your comment. Rox was my first dog and I love her so much. On her last night, I made her turkey meal and carried her to the backyard. We lighted up the coleman lantern and hanged it up on the tree, just like we were camping. I sat on the ground and had her on my legs. I said thank you to Rox and wish one day we will see each other again.

Generally trailer arms are designed to keep the trailer itself aligned with towing vehicle but yours seems to be oddly off-centre to the scooter? Oh and one other thing, you need to get a spanner onto that connecting bolt, hand tightening is NOT enough.

Oh... I am sorry to hear about Rox. But as other has said, this video is so helpful. I am wondering thought. How fast did you go with Rox in the trailer? I have a scooter and I would love to take my 10 year old Portuguese Water Dog out for some rides. I am just afraid of how this trailer would handle the speeds of a scooter. Can you elaborate? Hi, thank you for the comment. Rox is my forever baby and until today, I still miss her . Our scooter is an E-BIKE ( electronic bike). I remembered when we were testing for the first time, our speed was kind of 20 km/hr, then once we were sure it was fine and not bumpy, we increased to 30 km/h, then 40 km/h. Rox was totally fine in the carrier even the speed was 40km/h. But the road condition was too good, had some holes, so we normally just rode 30ish km / hr. It is an E-bike, so doesn't produce waste air. Cheers !

Yes we did.theres a plastic cover we removed and found a bolt to attach the trailer to under that.

Hi, it's an E-bike as I mentioned in the video. So it's a electric bike. No cc. No need to refill the gas, so needs to be charged when it runs out electricity

What brand your ebike scooter? I'm in love with it and would love to have one my self. I have a gigabyke that was total trash I been working on. Managed to set it up for long distance run with no power drainage since when I got it the peddles were broken. But I wanted to upgrade with something I can do the same. And that one look like way better quality.
