Wow, what a beautiful love and adventure story between father and son. Please be careful for him now that he’s older, as sitting up will be very hard on his knees, hips and back, and he could get dizzy and fall off. The box should be very cushioned and padded, especially the edges where he lays his head, and stops should be much more frequent, for water too, because the wind will dry him out. Such a pity humans cannot be like dogs who love you _unconditionally_ I have a British Bull Dog who when young slept on my bed with me every night know he is old and bit unstable on his feet still sleeps in my bedroom but on his own mattress on the and rag blanket I made for him to keep him warm at night - its one of a kind like he is. He has given me a lot of love and comfort over the years he deserves it and the least I can do Is make sure he is comfortable now its down to an arthritis tablet every couple of days mind you it wont be long before (me) _his slave_ is taking her arthritis tablet as well lol

This Dodo actually made me tear up. The love for one's pet/family is as strong as for a child and parent. I loved seeing Sox out with his person living and loving life vs sitting alone at home. Mike's a dream dad to a sweetie pup.

I remember seeing the first Dodo video about this dog almost 2 years ago. To think they've kept strong on this promise of seeing all 50 states this whole time, especially on the dog's part, is really something to me. I am a biker with 2 dogs. My lab is 11 & has had mast cell cancer surgery & lumps I watch. The bonds we share are incredible. I totally get this & feel the raw yet delicate emotion. As our dogs & us get older the emotions grow stronger. I try to mentally adapt but know me and the dogs are not immortal or immune from all issues. Enjoy the good times cherish the memories. @@cj6281 Nooooooo please don't take carrot away from his family without approval. If you ask and they say yes, then do that. But unless he is being totally neglected and mistreated I could never condone that. Someone probably loves him just as much as you loved your furbaby. Carrot probably senses your heartbreak and is giving you comfort. I lost my last furbaby aged 5 from a horrid mast cell tumour on her leg. It took her in a matter of months and I've never gotten over losing her as she was the most gentle soul. I adopted a new boy from the welfare league within about 6 weeks of my girl passing. This boy looks like her but omg he is not gentle nor overly loving. He adores me but he growls to talk and it gets vicious sounding lol . He won't let me clip his nails or comb his hair. He's a Maltese White Highland Terrier cross..My last girl was a Maltese Shih Tzu ..I wish you all the best..Find yourself a new furbaby who needs you from the local pound hun like I did.
