santa cruz/nhs is sick. i appreciate how they keep people around, former pro skaters still have a home there - jeff kendall, ron whaley, eric dressen, salba, judi oyama, etc. some of them been there 40 years, still skating or not. in an industry that often treats people as disposable, it's pretty refreshing to see. especially from one of the bigger/more established brands.

i have an everslick, it's pretty cool. they slide fast, you can get broke off if you're not expecting it.

I can tell you that the VX is a longer lasting skateboard. Watch Maurio McCoy’s video where he breaks his board and still skated it. I’ve done that and it is still skatable. Keep these videos coming. I didn’t like the double duros, but the Spitfire formula four Reynolds are impressive or Powell Dragons are interesting. You should try them out.

Love this man. I skate pretty much every day for at least an hour. I go through a deck about every three weeks. So this is definitely relevant to me, haha. I'd love to see you guys look at the new Andy Anderson deck. There's a lot of hype around it.

i like 56-60mm bc they last longer, roll faster, and usually wider

Hey guys! Let me first say that I like what you're doing,testing products and the idea of breaking said products down to the core to ultimately find out if it lives up to the manufacturers claims.i have been a skateboarder for 30+ years and applying this idea to,not only sk8 shoes,but decks and weels,especially is a very good thing! I started watching rose anvil because of the way it essentially calls the manufacturers out and I've been impressed with your findings.that being said I'm looking forward to your scientific approach to skateboarding.thanks boys!

This channel would do well to get into the raw denim world. Talk about heritage methods of constructing garments!

Love Santa Cruz, the first deck I bought with my own money, a Rob Roskopp in 1988, and still wear their gear which is great quality (too old to skate now 😆)

I even love the fact that santa cruz would send you guys boards who don't even skate just as free advertising not buying your boards santa cruz and rose anvil won't convince me

My first Skateboard with polyurethane wheels was a orange Cal 240, Christmas 1974! I have a black one and one orange mint, never used. I got them on ebay about 15 years ago.

every time you say 'iron snail' i think of those snails that live by hydrothermal vents in the ocean and make their shells and armor plates out of metal. they are wild looking, soft pink bodies with black/graphite shells and plates/scutes. i think there are white shelled ones too, depending on what minerals are available

I'd be obsessed with more skate content, an adjacent topic I feel would go well is derby skates, like roller-skates. A lot are made in the USA, of leather but then use the most buzzwords they can

the hardcore longboarding community probably has a better idea of bearings than the average street skater. fun fact the "skrt" sound street skaters love when powersliding goes away when reducing the slop in your bearings and wheels
@diplenski2 ай бұрын
i almost spit out my coffee laughing when i read 'hardcore' and 'longboarding' in the same sentence, but then i remembered seeing some of those downhill folks and that stuff is super gnarly.

Really cool seeing this as a fairly new skater. No disrespect but if you do start doing more skate stuff I’d just research more. Skateboarding is incredible but it’s very “you can’t fake the funk” so don’t just go into this stuff without some knowledge. (I’m mostly talking about Weston since he doesn’t skate)

you don't have to cut the wheels to test them, the core is exposed

Someone who knows nothing about skating is gonna test free products great... great idea, and even the dude you got as a "real" skater seems a little sketchy without being offensive

Dude. 9:35 before you start even cutting the tape on the box. Before then is just shameless plugs and unpaid ads. I'm about to clock out.
