Unbox Something: Mythic Legions' Torrion is the Ultimate Battle Cattle

Wanted to continue sharing some toy unboxing with the folx here on Brick Something. I haven’t done a Mythic Legions figure on camera yet, so I went with a pretty old one in Torrion, a tough looking shadow minotaur with the most amazing blue metallic armor. This figure was part of the fourth Mythic Legions Wave by Four Hoursemen Studio, and was first put up for sale way back in 2016. My Legions collection didn’t start until February of this year, so I’m pretty damn green. I’m having a great time getting to know this line, and even though I’m opening up sold oldies, I hope you enjoy experiencing these toys with me.

Genius how they used the normal buck for Torrion but added that piece to beef up the neck/traps - looks great!

Yeah, I’m consistently impressed by how the Four Horsemen are thinking like LEGO. LEGO has been my main toy fix these last 20 years, and a huge part of the appeal is the building and combining to make new things. I have a huge LEGO minifig collection, and mixing and matching is a huge part of the hobby. So when I discovered that aspect of Mythic Legions, I was sucked right in. When I heard that Four Horsemen were originally gonna make Legions using the Glyos System, I was like, “YUP. They get it.” And now they’re doing this awesome thing with pop-off chestplates. It’s just the beginning, but soon enough I know we’ll be seeing this become more of a marketed feature of their toys.

Yeah. I think it’s frustrated by the level of meat consumption by his fellow Mythic Legionnaires. I mean, these levels of muscle mass come from somewhere, right?

Thanks Nolan! That’s 💯…I love the figs that I’m sharing, and it’s just sorta fun for me to document this whole toy collecting period. I’d kill to have footage of my childhood toys. So yeah, it’ll be lots of me sharing what I get my hands on, regardless of current or old.

I just got into this line also last Friday, I ordered from bbts the vampire with the fur, and some knight in armor from Star line ,and today I dropped the 200 on headless horseman ,I know got ran up in but I was in the hospital for 2 weeks and missed it, but man they look so dam good and I can only imagine what they look like in person ,but I got to wait, witch sucs

Sorry to hear about the hospital stay. Hope you’re all good. Smart to balance out the tough realities of life with some good old fashioned playing with toys!!! Definitely helps me. And I’m *THRILLED* for you!!! Seriously, you’re gonna have such a great time unboxing your first ones. Definitely get what you love and can swing financially, but know that the current wave is up for pre-order at Store Horsemen, with basic figs for $37 and deluxe for $55. There’s a horse and rider to compliment your Headless Horsemen for $110. It seems like you’re feeling the horror stuff, so the Necronominus Wave might be just perfect. The ghoul beastmaster and grim reaper characters are 🤯. And best of all, the pre-order window lets us save up our cash by staying open til Jan 15.
