If I buy a drone it'll be the DJI Mini 3 Pro. It costs around $700 so I'm not sure if that's considered budget or not. But it has a 4k camera that swivels and weighs only 249g that'll fit in your pocket, and the controller has it's own dedicated screen. I've never owned a drone before, so for me, this would be my first try.

Temu is a collection of different sellers; you are essentially shopping multiple stores in one place. The sellers determine the price, so it's not fair to say price differences are a TEMU scam.

You're seeing it as the opposite reason of why I did it. FYI, the reason for the different prices is because they are being offered by different resellers. Temu handles the money collection and shipping for many different companies overseas that each do their own pricing, just like Amazon does in the United States. In the time I have been dealing with Temu I have seen the same items with many different prices. You just have to look long enough to get the best deals.

The 1st one only had altitude old so its going to be pushed by the wind. I would say that's an indoor drone. The 2nd one likely did not have gps but it did at least have an optical flow sensor which made it a bit more stable. The 3rd one had geofencing which is why it had no range. You should be able to change that in the settings. The 4th one had brushed coreless motors. The downward facing camera is a camera but is really an optical flow sensor which assists in holding altitude. If it did have obstacle avoidance it would only be for forward movement , no other direction. All of them should have had dual to triple rates which would have helped to fly in the wind. They don't have blades they have propellers or props. the ones that collapse are called folding props. its for space when stored more than anything. When you crash you must throttle off. the motors will likely be ok but if you force stop a propeller while under power you will damage the esc (electronic speed control). All of the folding designs can be attributed to DJI, which to my knowledge released the first examples of the design. As you said most manufacturers have since adopted a similar design. Sorry, I could not help myself but to add to your descriptions and info. Good, informative video though. I am always curious to see the new entry level toy grade drones. They are more fun to fly. the DJI's, Autel's, and Parrott"s are more akin to operating a machine rather than actively flying something.

The rotator blade provides lift and forward thrust, and is considered to be a wing. The folding wing for helicopters has been around for a long time in Naval aviation I could be wrong but I think it was invented by Leroy Grumman in the mid 1940s. It provided more storage place in hangars and onboard ships.

Your reviews were less than objective, on several levels: - TEMU represents different sellers, and not from its own platform - object avoidance IR is a function of lightning, so in low light, it will perform at an optimal level - you can't accuse a brand of cloning, esp as the technology is from an Open Source, that anyone can access. Devs like DJI, Parrot, Autel and 3DR have their own proprietary technology, that have registered trade marks So you can be a little more objective next time

That's happening on Amazon, too. I was left frustrated when shopping for a flashlight recently. I bought a flashlight listed as 6000 lumen flashlight which as I noticed later was also sold as 2000 lumen by different seller under different brand name, but everything looked identical. The flashlight performs worse than my 300 lumen flashlight which I was looking to replace. I find that on temu it's easier to find the cheapest option

Yes this. There are tons of things on temu that are sold on Amazon for double the cost or more. Some you can even find in stores at a massive markup. I think temu is so inexpensive because many manufacturers are selling direct and they must be doing enough volume to be okay with wholesale pricing.

I think the X26 Batwing would make a good addition to my emergency kit. We live on the east coast in a hurricane prone area, so the stability and decent camera would make it useable for surveying damage around/near our home. At around 60 bucks it's practically disposable.

I would suggest a cheap drone with decent wide angle camera (110 deg) and SD card slot (for DVR) such as Snaptain SP500/SP510 or Eachine E520S. Either would be great for surveying areas near a home and cheap enough to be not a big deal if it breaks. Most of other cheap chinese drones have narrow angle camera (60 deg or less) and no SD card slot for DVR.

A HUGE caution on Temu electrics from my own experience: I've had several electronics melt and/or catch fire! The most recent item from temu was a car cigarette lighter extension with built-in fuse protection literally melted inside the cigarette plug and caught fire while I was driving! Many of thier batteries also randomly catch fire. They simply don't have the same safety standards that we have in most other developed countries...

Just one electrical fire is too many, let alone several from the same company all in a short period of time. My life and my property are worth more than saving a few bucks on very poorly made electronics. I'm so confident in how poorly made their electronics are that I'm willing to bet money that you have other viewers who have also had their stuff literally catch on fire.

There are countless products from thousands of manufacturers on what amounts to an online market. I agree that what happened with you was unacceptable. Reminds me of when Ford motor company had a safety campaign on most Middle because the brake fluid level sensors were shorting out and burning vehicles to the ground.

@@courier11sec just because I only gave one example doesn't mean that's the only example I draw from. My confidence in their horribly made electronic products comes from dozens of failed car parts, dozens of shoddy underperforming tools, and chips and batteries that don't even work at all. Don't even get me started on there SD chips and other memory devices that, although may actually be the amount of gigabytes they say they are, they are not up to par for modern electronics. So for example, their SD chips might be one terabyte but every device you put them in says it isn't a high speed data transfer chip and therefore not compatible and this applies to cameras, drones, phones, quite literally every electronic device I have put them in, even including trail cams that shouldn't require a high transfer rate and yet their chips still fail. Add to that, if you buy a dozen items that all fail, they still only allow one return per order no matter how badly flawed or failed their products are. At least every single item that has failed on me that I've gotten from Amazon I've got either a full refund or a full replacement. Every battery/ battery pack I've purchased from Temu has also failed miserably in less than 6 months and either caught fire or won't even hold a charge after barely a dozen uses.

I bought the E88 pro which as far as I can tell, is just as good as any of those drones and I paid $18 for it, although I've see the same one for as low as $14. Also, I've noticed with almost all of the listings they do the same scam, with very small detail changes or different pictures for the same product and very different prices. That's not the only scam, I've also noticed that they pretend to give you a great deal up to 90% discount but list the product way higher than what it normally is listed, so even with the discount your back to the same price! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Others have already commented on the price differences, but also they could be putting in better quality batteries. My e-Bike came with genuine LG cells in the battery. Cost me more than the bikes with generic batteries. Still holding a charge well after 4 years...

I would choose the x26 Batwing for its stability and it would be a fun drone just to fly with my grandson and not worrying about camera quality. It seemed pretty stable when it was up in the air with a little wind not bad for 63 bucks.

Bought a drone from amazon kinda like these but little more high quality with a camera, but the camera is as good as either a vhs camera or your first drones camera. with todays pixel resolution (1920 x 1080) but i still like it, i can calibrate it and make it fast as i want (kinda) and make a 360 degrees flip (pretty cool). But after all these minuses, i like it. Good video👍

Had the E99,got it for 25p off temu with 3 batteries and dual camera. It's cheap as hell but I'd never flown a drone before. Within 20 minutes it was lost,so glad it didn't cost anything 😂

When using this type of cheap drones you always have to calibrate, some by button, others by lowering the two levers down and out, the anti-shock system of these drones is with the infrared method and in the light environment that you use it does not work, It is mostly for indoor use. Anyway it was a good informative video, thank you

I definitely like the one from TEMU, it seemed to fly better and easier than the others, I'm looking for a drone that can help my sister's 8-year-old great-granddaughter learn how to fly a drone. (my great great niece). She's an awesome kid that loves the outdoors and is fascinated by everything in the outdoors. I think something like this would help her explore in a whole different way. It used to be a fairly common practice for a large store (say, Walmart or Home Depot) to have the same item in several places in the store, each at a different price. These days, that would be harder to do (but not impossible, if each one had its own bar code). Kind of the same thing you noticed here.

New to this game....have been on the fence for a long time. Looking for something that is more inline for a beginner, but useful. I'm 70 years old and not into speed, or a lot of aerial acrobatics. Looking for something that is fairly stabile and a usable camera to look around the property and house for damage. Not sure how much range the X26 Batwing has, but it does seem to be a good fit for what I'm looking for in a small drone. Thanks for the reviews and the giveaway.

I would have fun flying something like that with my kids.I noticed a comment about hurricane prone areas and using this to scout damage safely. Amazing point I never thought of for getting a drone. These are just toys. Without GPS you may never get it back. The one unit that claimed to have GPS did not appear to really have it. A good drone will have GPS, a good camera, usually 4K, a gimbal to keep the camera steady while the drone is moving and a decent range of at least 1000 feet or more. Even the cheapest DJI drones have all of these features. They certainly cost more, but you get what you pay for. If this is just a fun thing for your kid, go for a Temu drone.

Bought myself one of those e88 that set itself ablaze (Learned my lesson) but drones are too expensive here in my country so it's really the best I could get at the moment. I doubt I'll win, even then it'll be difficult to get the drone cause I don't live in the U.S or Europe. Would've been nice.

Nice video. Cheap drones, had 2 of the same thing. A late July video. the once it was used and went, no control. Video of that late July. They are what they are, Brave with cheap drone in garden and trees. Those infrared sensors on top might to 360 sensing but really only indoor thing. Things cheap now but would i buy one. Hey, the second drone you flew -X26, when I was new to TEMU my price (due to temu rewards) was sub $30. Employment travels to factories in China have educated me with their manufacturing processes and how prices are inconsistent. What I suggest every purchase do is continue to seek the lowest price for the item you want. We Americans have become extremely lazy and complainy, it’s embarrassing. Overseas retailers owe you nothing so your complaint of paying too much means, talk to AI. The X26 I have, it’s a cool drone, I’ve noticed some quirks which I attribute to my lack of knowledge

It appears that you don't shop Amazon, because you have to think of Temu as an Asian origin Amazon...with the same products sold for different prices. Thus, Temu is merely the US middle-man between Asian sellers & US/UK buyers. The difference between Temu & AliExpress is that Temu warehouses most (not all) products in the US, so shipping time is usually a week or so, at most...compared to as long as 60 days for AE. If that's a scam, then Amazon is an enormous scammer...because, though Amazon competes with its sellers by jumping in and also selling any product that has high demand, there's no evidence (yet) that Temu does that. But, note that Temu's shipping is free for orders of $35 or more...without Amazon's ripoff "Prime" fee. And, Temu's return policy is more liberal than Amazon's. To avoid what you considered to be a scam, you should always sort search results by low to high prices. And that goes for any similar online marketer, including Ebay, etc.

Alliexpress is the same; you can easily see the same product at different prices. In China, the provincial government supports specific shops with subsidies, such as the Tesla car, which has a $7500 rebate from the US government. Depends on the industry policy of different support to gain market share. When the money ran out, the price returned to a particular price. No one can sell products at a loss for long. It is the same for many startups in Silicon Valley in the US. When angel money dries up, the strart up needs to raise prices. That seems to be the case in most Chinese products, we are the early beta tester growing eComerce model.

I have to speak up for places like Temu and Wish. I've ordered many things from them both, from knives and sling shots to zop ties and drones, drill bits and lamps. Almost everything was great. The things I had issues with, they refunded my money and did not require me to send it back. I found this video while searching to find a drone like the one I just got from them, but can't find anything close. It's a small one and looks great(waiting on battery to charge now) and it appears to have 3 lens on its front on a "gimble" and a front and rear lens on top. Foldable wings. I haven't had any problem with any of the other two drones u bought from Temu. I have gotten exactly what I expected. Don't expect super duper quality, expect cheap but good stuff. Also I have a self opening knife I can shave with I've carried for 2yrs now and am extremely happy with it. It's my EDC.

Not bad considering the low price. However, unless you are in a very tight budget, I would still recommend spending a little more and get something of better quality. Even if you don't get a DJI you can get something like a HolyStone 175D for a reasonable price and you'll have a drone that is incredibly good, and won't break the bank.

There is no scam whatsoever. These drones are Chinese junk that a manufacturer offers at a low price and resellers buy, rebrand and sell for whatever they want to. None of these are worth no more than $35 or $40. Technology Eachine has some of the best "cheap" drones out there with GPS, obstacle avoidance, RTH, etc..

Also remeber if your in the promotions the prices change to more .and your limited but if you just shop buy for the price and you can request a discount on some some not .but be carefull with the discriptions on temu and i have bought alot and recieved alot of free things and have a few drones love my kia 2 pro ❤️ got it cheap . So many to buy but if you have a 107 drone license theres better but under 295 grams cheaper the better for fun not for buisness.

4 listings will have 4 different prices because you are looking at an e-commerce platform where each seller is a different vendor with his own products and company. Just because few sellers are offering the same product doesnt mean they have to keep same price. Same with Amazon where you will find different prices for different vendors. Not sure how you didnt figure that one out...

I wanted to enter your drone giveaway. I liked the X26 batwing drone because you do not need batteries for the remote and the obstacle avoidance because i never used one before. I also have been trying to win one like this on one of there games, I have been playing for the last couple of months. Now that I am almost there they are trying to make me pick a cheaper gift but they will give me two batteries and what good is that going to do if I do not have the drone. Another scam or bate and switch by them.

Hey great video the drone I like is your drone and the 2 Temu drones you had in your video I had both of them I still have 1 drone I got from Temu and it's a Any RC Mini Folding drone. It's pretty cool if it had longer battery life it would be awesome. What I would do if I had your drone I would like to go to a Chattanooga Lookouts game and record some of the game. I love flying drones and I'm going to continue doing so.

If you have the money and want a decent drone look at the DJI mini series those are really good I have the DJI mini 2 se it flies very well has a nice 2.7k camera and is super stable even with some more heavier winds I got mine for £250 ($300)

I got one of these same style controller and exact same "instruction booklet" but I can not figure out how to get this thing synced to the controller and or my phone. the instructions are a complete joke. any one have a link to a step by step start up or anyone willing to reply a step by step start up? It's a china thing. They do this with every product they sell in the US. Walmart online products from China does the exact same thing with the same product on Walmarts web site. Same product different price

Multiple sellers trying to make some money bigger bank holders can buy more than smaller guys so they are all super cheap toys so if you’re not paying attention to the price that’s on you. 90% coupons you will get them for 8.07 like I did no brainer there.

I like the twenty five dollar drone I would like to get one to explore areas that it can get into without worrying about retrieving it from just to be able to get those videos with out risks to life and limb. I enjoy exploring dangerous areas but it’s only fun when it is safe. And exploring points of no return for me is where the best videos begin. You mustn’t shop online platforms, especially like Temu, Wish and others very often. Many many items listed dozens of times for different prices and reviews. Any seller can list same products on these platforms for whatever price they choose.

You will see these sorts of listing with many different products. I think it is different sellers selling the same products. I think these people buy products from a online whole seller and resell them on their platform for a profit. I think it is probably the online ads for these starting your own online businesses. Just because something is sold online does not mean it is the best price available, so buyer beware,

I bought the S2S drone and liked it but was testing the range. I flew it into the light breeze and got it out about 40 or 50 yards and lost contact. Then the wind changed and I watched it fly 200 yards over the trees and never saw it again.

the gps test on the 2nd drone, when i brought a dji p3a i tested the gps return by flying it 300 metres and getting it to return and then i flew it over a kilometer from me, and on both trips the drone landed within 30 metres on where it took off from, you however brought that drone close to the take off point and then tested it and then said it wasn`t great, to be fair you didn`t even bother to test it properly now maybe the drone didn`t have gps on something that cheap i would be surprised if it did, but your test is what failed.

Save up and buy a DJI drone! I bought a cheaper drone that claimed to have a 1080p sensor (£50.00 off Amazon it only had a upscaled 720p sensor) regretted it on day 1 crashed itself I hunted an open field for 3 hours couldn't find it, a neighbour did (or their dog did) Cheap drones off Amazon (and similar sites ARE NOT WORTH IT) I bought a used DJI Mini2 off a European site (only 8 charges from new) for £269 delivered, and wished I had not wasted my money on the cheap drone! It works EXACTLY as DJI says in the specs, best thing I ever did, you know if it claims to have 4k footage, you WILL get 4k! DJI produce some really good drones and for entry drones (first time using a drone) maybe buy used from a good dealer! I got 6 months warranty also with my purchase, noticed that after buying a second battery for the drone the original (shipped) was a blown battery the company asked for it back to do an investigation and remove the battery, which I refused as I would have to buy a new battery. So I opted for a replacement drone with more 'in the box' a younger drone with only 3 charges for £25 to pay! As they say "Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner"

I’ve never owned a drone, so the easiest to fly would be of interest to me. Looks like that’s the X26. I’d use it to shoot video of my band and acoustic duo as well as some of the cancer fundraising events I play. I’m also going on a cruise late November and it would be fun to shoot in the various locations.

I hope you find something good to get started. DJI Mini 3 comes complete at Costco at $429 dollars and is a great starter drone. If you're looking for a good starter drone that isn't a toy.

Personally, none of these excite me. I've bought drones from Temu and they've all been crap...most stopped working after only a few hours of use. Moreover, what most reviews fail to include is that you have to register the drones with the feds, and you need to be a licensed drone pilot to legally use any footage on KZbin or other source(s) where you may be paid for content and footage. When you consider the ~$300-$400 in onerous (and mostly needless) federal requirements...might as well buy a quality drone that won't break after a recharge or two's worth of usage.

The drone license is 175$, and i believe if your flying on your own property you do not need it. But I will try to go over that more in detail in the future it is a good point. Also not everyone has the money to get the license AND buy a quality drone right away when starting out so it helps to know some cheaper ones that "might" be worth learning on ^^

I have a DJI mini and other expensive drones. I bought one of the cheap ones from Temu and I took it to my local park and yea the battery failed and it landed in the lake…. :-/ Not bothered I wanted to see what it could really do, I did not recover it 🤣 But I got my money back.

Thats basically the point of the video, you got it 100%. Ive seen some comments about people wanting to use these for "professional" applications, and with the camera quality alone its just not going to work.
