Well the issue is that it’s not just at the national. It’s the entire industry. I think it was 2020 Select football that had I believe 36 different Joe Burrow 1/1 RCs. 36!!! Granted, there was only one of each variation, but the fact that 36 different “only one in the world” type of cards existed in the same product for just one player is absolutely ridiculous. I remember I opened 2004 Leaf baseball (back when all companies had baseball licensing) and pulled a Edgar Renteria Black Mirror 1/1 and went nuts just because I knew I was the only person in the world that would pull his 1/1 lol. He obviously wasn’t a legend of the game, but it’s idea of pulling something like that back then. It’s still exciting, but now it’s like okay cool, me and 30 other people have “this card”.

Looks like you had a great time. Was surprised we didn't see more of you too, but maybe others are coming. I was really shocked at how little football I saw hit/ripped/bought at the National this year. Everyone says there was tons of football, yet most KZbinrs at least were doing baseball, basketball, Disney, etc... Was disappointed with the amt of football I saw. I only collect football, so disappointing this year. This year seemed to be mainly baseball. Last year it seemed like waaaay too much basketball. Sooo, does that mean next year is the year? 😅 Wish they'd move a National on occasion a bit west. Maybe like KC at least. Right in the middle of the country which would make it mire accessible to more collectors.
