Unboxing 2021 stereo cassette player

Just an unboxing video of me opening up a cassette player from 2021 presumably made by a company called Jensen. Cassette players were originally used to be able to listen to music on the go before iPhones, laptops, iPods, or even MP3 players were invented. I thought they all didn’t exist anymore until I saw the year on it after finding it at a local music store. I guess maybe they started making them again back during that year or they never stopped making them. It was really cool being able to actually see one in person since before, I only saw them in movies, shows, cartoons, and old commercials.

Actually, this is something called "walkman".I got it first time, 1985.They drain the battery very fast.

I thought the Walkman was a small, portable TV you could take with you back in the 1980s and 90s. I heard they were super expensive and not very many people had them back then.

@@thatguytony2002 Not TV, those came later, but cassete player,sometimes even a cassete recorder.True, at beginning they were veeeery expensive, especially SONY.But later no name walkmans from Taiwan were cheaper.When I was a school boy it was sign of prestige, to carry on and listen your favorite music during classes ;)

@@trtprc6897 well the box said it was a stereo cassette player so I didn’t really know much about them prior.

@@trtprc6897 it turns out what I was thinking of was called a Watchman. I made a mistake and misremembered some information I was told but I still didn’t know cassette players were also called Walkmans.
