Lydia, I watch your channel for the gardening, antiquing, chickens etc., and it brings me joy. With the utmost respect and love - please stop explaining about your expensive purchases, and just show us - those who want to see, will watch; those who don't will just skip ahead. It's disheartening to hear you explain how hard you work to afford these - I'm an ER nurse - it's exhausting - physically, mentally and emotionally. I could work 2 lifetimes in my career and still not afford what you can, and I'm ok with that - just as long as you continue to take us in the garden with you!!!

First time commenter here - I'm a professional classical musician (also a die-hard ballet lover) and it's really heartwarming to see someone as genuinely excited as you are about ballet, and wonderfully, listening to the score! Just also wanted to say that whilst it's wonderful that you're finding a love for the arts and making an event out of going to a performance, perhaps mentioning that people can go and have just as cool an experience for genuinely great (low) prices as well might help spread your love for it? We're really struggling in the UK atm in the arts, and seeing someone with a platform like yours genuinely enthusing about going to see a ballet and listening to the score is just really great to see and makes it feel a little less hopeless! Hello the two of you, UK. Vancouver, BC here. I haven't been vlog'g muchly. Just happened to notice you dead-heading your beautiful roses. Then you moved on to de-weeding your patio area. TIP to share ... a spray bottle with l/4 full of 'clear' vinaiger, plus a 3 or 4 drops of liquid dish soap, cool water to the top. Give the weed area on patio a spray and voila! No back-breaking weed pulling. Hope you give it a go; it works. Love your vlogs & a congrates having your name posted "FRONT COVEER" no less, next to my favorite... The Peoples Princess still. BRAVO girl!

I actually prefer the explanation; but that might be because it's my first time viewing. I appreciate knowing that background you came from. without knowing it, it's a little bit like, "wow. what a pleasant life luxury affords; at least in terms of prettiness and comfort." The blue dress is outstanding! If I had your body shape I would live in that, I think! I love the ballet. I attended a Swan Lake performace in Moscow a few years ago, which still presented the modified ending proposed by the Soviet Union, where they both survive. It was such a peculiar performace. Truly beautiful, though. Do not justify your purchases. It's your money, you do what you want with it. I am not at the point of being able to afford those items, yet, but that doesn't bother me at all. I like watching people enjoy their life the way they like it.

For drying herbs you should get a dehydrator, it means you can dry herbs, apples, tomatoes in a controlled environment. No worrying about things going mouldy as they could in the shed, especially with the summer we're having.

You’re keeping me company while I cook, do my skincare and so on! ❤️😊 I wanted to mention to you that I’ve been struggling with perioral dermatitis for the past couple of years and the only thing that seems to be clearing it up for me is getting prescribed antibiotics. Which I am not a fan of taking, but every time I get it, it just gets worse within 3-4 weeks. I wonder if you suffer with it as bed as I do, as I have noticed that dermatitis on my scalp also flares up when I get perioral dermatitis. I have never suffered with acne or anything, but this is just so strange and annoying. Had to see my GP to get the prescription, now it’s gone in nearly 4 days. I don’t use makeup daily and skincare is minimal, but SPF seems to trigger it for me. All the best, hopefully it clears up for you soon! ❤
