Sebastian my wife says she wore ANGEL Perfume in 1994 as a teenager when she found it luved the fragrance right away but sooo sad she says she has never found another that she luved as much as Angel just like your mum she hoped this would. be different but no just another DUD she is sooo disappointed thot this one might be the one 😢 she says she has never found another perfume like it people followed her in the street wanting to know what it was and going shopping they followed her around the shops wanting to know she is devastated 😔💚🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

L'Oreal has issued some strong Azzaro. Valentino, Viktor & Rolf, and Armani fragrances. Other say Fantasm for men isn't weak at all.

I don't understand how they can release a fragrance after so many years with no performance! That a shame! I am a big fan of the original. I don't understand what they are thinking! They don't test their fragrances? Amen (the original) was super strong longevity projection big sillage... Why they don't do it for this one. I am super disappointed I was so excited for this one

Does the female Angel remind you of their Iced Star??? It was a limited edition . I’m glad you at least liked the the new A*men as a scent. So sad about the lasting power!! Great video

Story. I was at a Macy's, it must have been over a decade and a half, and a man was talking to a sales rep and he was interested in A*Men. The sales rep spritzed some on a test strip. The man liked it and proceeded to put some on. Folks, the look of the salesperson when this guy must have put on at least 10 sprays. His eyebrows raised in such a way. Anyway, I was leaving the counter and I am telling you, you could smell it at least 30 feet from the counter. I have a couple bottles of the Thierry Mugler stamped A*Men. Malt, Wood, Havana, B. You can still find B for a good deal. It's a good one. I'm so glad this one is like the older A*Men's. Hopefully, we will get more. Before there was an FB community, an Insta, and all the other socials on fragrances, there was KZbin. A*Men was such an important part of our community. Why they walked away from it just confounds me. Thanks for the review, Sebastian.

I think that will depend how well this one sells, unfortunately. I wish they would keep pumping them out as before.. Like Pure Amber, Ultra Patchouli, etc.. I've owned 6 of the flakes and love the all. Made the mistake of wearing Pure Havave, Pure Coffee, Pure Shot all the way to the last drop. No way to find them for the price I paid for them. Wish they can do a last run so I can buy those again.

I really really like Fantasm. On me it smells a lot like Angel Muse which is sadly discontinued so I got excited with this flanker. On me the performance was more than great. Greetings from Greece ❤

I would consider these as gifts for others. I am not a tropical fragrance aficiaonada per se, but as you indicated, scents can grow on me. I would want to sample it first. Love the look of both bottles -- charming in a perfume bar. 😊

As someone just starting to take an interest in fragrance, it is disappointing to hear so many enthusiasts saying new releases and reformulations are weak performers... I agree with you re: performance! It feels like the goal of a fragrance is to project enough to share with people near you through your day, otherwise you would just keep it in a bottle on a shelf and go visit it all alone; there'd be no point in wearing it at all! Like a garment too transparent to see

So disappointing. I know it's right in time for summer but honestlt I clicked so quick because I love the look of the dark Angel bottle. To find out it houses a tropical fragrance for such a deep dark bottle color is such a let down. It looks like it could've been the perfect bottle for something with a deep, sexy, and exotic profile. What a waste! Instead I would've loved an Angel bottle that was gold like Alien Goddess with such a profile, if not then orange or copper colored similar to croisiere. At least it would've looked appropriate for a star shaped bottle with a tropical scent profile. :/

When I buy a perfume I want it to last and I'm so disappointed with so many perfumes nowadays. When it comes to the designer fragrances I buy only some classical ones (though often reformulated and less potent). I remember like 20 years ago I was wearing Donna Karan Black Cashmere and I could afford it from my small student's budget - it was so potent, unique and niche quality. Nothing like that in Sephora anymore 😢

Nah', I'll take your word for it Sebastian- thanks for saving me the money! Mugler has been a disappointment for awhile ever since they changed the formulation of their masterpieces; even the original A*Men smells so unlike what it was before, that instead I'm getting sick of the smell. Better to search for the ones made a long time ago than the batches made now.

Ah, that’s too bad. Mugler has gone downhill unfortunately. Not happy with what L’Oréal has done with the brand. I was hoping to try these in Paris next week, but I’m more excited to try L’Orchestra Parfum’s Piano Santal and a whole bunch of Jovoy fragrances!

I got a sample of it. It reminds me of a more modern, semi freshened up, no tar version of the og. Easier to wear, more versatile. Have a few other frags that do what this does so I might pick up later. 8.5/10

L'Oreal's Fantasm sounds like a miss. Especially for the anticipated prices. I'll stick with Ultra Red, Star Man Nebula, and Insurrection Wild 2. Even Animale Animale. Much cheaper and way more variety with decent performance.

Men's R.L. Polo Blue EDT is the Absolute worst for any projection in a fragrance at all what so ever! Can't even smell it after spraying on. It's disgraceful really, & of course paid well over $100.00 for the large size, & stuck w/ it. :(

So annoyed at the prices they charge for designer now & there is no guts to it. Also cannot get on the middle eastern perfume houses & they come with that petrol smell that requires maceration. In some cases they never improve & I have thrown them out. They must be pumping them out so quick they have not had time to mature at all.

Never understood why they got rid of the Styrax that in my opinion gave that significant Tar note Is it smellwise comparable to A*Men or other notes? Same here with Amgel 😂 One of those scents that drove me nurs. The trail was so secy and intense Please compare A*Men and the new one side by side 🫶 Such a shame they but herr their frags so mich. It was my all day for many many years and as you said A*Men started my frag journey

Fantasm is not good, way too sweet, cloying..like Tom Ford Noir anthrazit with sweet caramel 🫣🤮 no one likes it here in germany.. whaat? this has nothing to do with original A Men Never 👎
