Yes sir, thanks for watching! I've since learned my CZ was made from Nazi parts, however was sanitized unfortunately.

@@The_Casual_Collector Yeah, it looked to me like the markings on the slide were milled off. A lot of CZ 27's are missing safety parts and at least the left hand side of the grip is damaged. Usually by the safety catch.

@travis cochran you're exactly right sir, after I looked more closely at it, mine appears to be a 1946 manufactured one that was completely sanitized unfortunately.

@MFC {Midwestern Firearms Consulting} you're exactly right. I may try to get a second lol. Considering the cost of the parts I need, the CZ will end up costing me roughly $500. Yes, I will certainly enjoy them both lol.

Awesome, Im a big CZ fan. I have a CZ 27 that was made under German occupation w/ waffenamts. Unfortunately one side has pretty bad finish damage like it sat on a surface that attracted moisture for years (probably a cardboard box or foam). The other side is pristine. The Israeli K98's have a really interesting history, I'd love to have one some day. Those grips on the CZ kind of look like occupation grips, they removed the CZ logo from the mold where it was normally in the circle in the grip Mags definitely aren't easy to find or affordable. Mine did come with one but I wanted at least one spare. I haven't had much luck with Triple-k repro mags on anything I've tried so I hunted down a real one. I think it was 70 bucks or more.

What are the odds, I also picked up a CZ vz.27 a few days ago as well. It’s an occupation-era but the magazine release was broken. Picked up a new production replacement from Jack First Inc; they do also make repro safety releases/buttons although they’re not cheap.

Man, your CZ27 is more rare that you think. This is “sanitised” 27, it was made for contracts where the gun manufacturer must not be known. I’ve studied Czech gunsmith school and we were told about them.

@@The_Casual_Collector commenting was a must :) sadly I don’t know exact number but Military Arms Channel has a video about them, just search sanitized CZ27. As I said I don’t know how many were made but I gues 3000 at most. CZ27s were sold for 50-70$ here a few years back and there were tons of them but as far as i know not a single sanitized one. You have a real gem of CZ27 pistols. :)

I have a German marked czech k98 dot 44 in 7.62. Except whoever had it before me refinished the stock. They're great rifles. I've been hesitant about ordering from hunters. Sending a check and waiting their long wait times always made me question it. But their prices seem excellent

Okay you know why there is a big ring on the trigger guard because that rifle was captured and used by the Russian army because Russians put that big trigger guard on there for their mittens for the Russian winners so they could use the gun from the Germans that was a captured weapon I should know and I used to own one The rifle is a very good excellent rifle and the Germans also did large ring guards for the trigger for their mittens for the Russian Winters so they can use the gun in combat it snowed or anything so they could put their hands in the trigger to pull it with those big heavy mittens they call that a mitten guard but Russia got rid of those and sold some of the surplus guns to Israel so that's how you got a replacement rifle
