The characters being designed to look like they turn into vehicles is part of the appeal of the designs of Transformers for me. They’re character/creature designs based around things that weren’t made with those designs in mind. Reworking vehicle and animal details to become part of something else. It’s just cool seeing the creative ways the designers pull it off and how it comes together into something that looks cool and has personality to it.

For sure! That’s what’s so exciting about it, having a great alt mode with a really creative robot inside. I wish we got this design philosophy more often, I’m tired of the “movie” look where it’s a super sleek robot with no kibble that’s supposed to be able to turn into a vehicle. More chunky bots!!

I love the Autobot Brothers sm. They're all so stupid and wierd and no other series has done it like this. You can tell they're just coming out of the Beast Era but they still work. With the new Sideburn, I need a Prowl and X-Brawn now!

That’s it exactly! He feels exactly like a beast wars toy, all weird proportions and ball joints and stuff. I’ll be keeping an eye for the rest, I really can’t stand that new Legacy Sideburn though cause the car mode is straight nothing.

@garrythegremlin oh yeah for Sideburn it's weird. It fits Shadow a LOT more due to her having been a Frankenstien's monster so the wierd proportions work well for her!
