I got Courtney's bed last year when they still did the monthly sales, I think I paid around $150 for it and I love it so much! It's still in box but I pulled the phone out so I could play with it haha. I don't have Courtney, but I think it will be PERFECT for Nicki & Isabel 🥰

I thought cosmic brownies came out before 1999, but I’d looked it up recently and was surprised that they came out in 1999. The Little Debbie nut-topped brownies were out much longer. This lunch is definitely appropriate for the Hoffman twins, too, especially since Isabel’s favorite food is cheese balls!

It's really good quality! I hear the new doll trunk has a plastic body unfortunately. I was so excited about that, but if it's too plastic-y, I'm not paying $200 for it 😩

I'm looking side to side as I watch this 15 minutes after getting to my desk at work... at least it's Friday and there was nothing in my inbox I had to do. I agree with Courtney's story. I thought it was truly really good. I actually cried a couple times. I really want to read book 2 but I don't want to buy it. My parents literally had rainbow sheets exactly like that when I was little. There's a lot of pictures of my parents on the bed with me as a baby with those sheets lol. (1984 baby) It would have been cool for the diary to be a little lock diary. I remember how much I loved my Funshine Care Bear lunchbox. I loved Funshine, I had a stuffed animal and a little plastic toy too.

I'm halfway through book 2 and it's really good! It's definitely sad, so if you're a cryer, beware LOL I agree that a lock diary would've been very cool!

OMG! I so want the phone! I have only seen it on eBay once. I frequently see the other pieces of this collection being resold, so apparently a lot of other people are in it for the phone! I do have Molly’s Surprise from this set (second hand) along with Courtney’s mini Molly set. I was a teenager/young adult in the 1980’s. I have a lot of Courtney’s collection for my CYO mini me. I have the Walkman and the Boom Box sets. The first Boom Box (purchased soon after its release), had the AM and FM labels flipped. FM is the higher numbers and AM is the lower numbers., and the one I purchased had the labels flipped. I eventually exchanged it despite the “rarity” of the mistake. I do like her books. The first book is the Space Shuttle Challenger. The second book is the Ryan White story.

I graduated from high school in 1986, so i was a child of the 70s and 80s , so naturally I have both Julie and Courtney. But I don't have any of their beds or accessories- love the phone and the boom box I am sure there is some good music on those tapes!!

omg, yes!!!! the back to school thing is SO relatable!!! picking out new school supplies for the year was like the best part of summer ending (i mean, nobody likes when summer ends, but yknow lol it was just nice and fun to do). i was born in 2002 though and i feel this, so i think ANY kid can relate to this, haha!!!

I'm sorry you had to go through that too. I don't collect GOTY so I won't be getting Lila. She is very cute though! I filmed this video (and my upcoming video) ahead of time because I've been on the road and getting settled in my new home. So I haven't been able to make videos on the new releases for the last month. I think I'm gonna do a casual recap of new releases on patreon, then pick back up again on reviewing new releases in about a month!

I already have it! I got it around the same time as the bed (can't remember if it was before or after - this was filmed a couple months ago because I needed content while I was moving and couldn't film). It's very very cool! The company that makes it makes other games at this scale, and I wanna get them!

You mentioned the unicorn and other illustrations didn’t look especially 80s. As a girl growing up lower middle class in the 80s I frequently had knockoffs or cheaper versions of toys with illustrations that weren’t quite as nice or detailed as the Lisa Frank. I think it’s pretty funny that Courtney’s family would have money for an AG doll but buy her the knock off binder. I like to believe she requested the brand name but was given the bootleg unicorn instead and developed a complex about it.

I reread Molly's 6 original books and I found the first illustration versions up until books 4-6. I call the original illustrations creepy molly. Just because they're very unsettling to look at for some reason. Which is probably way AG changed the covers
