Unboxing and overview of the Xbox series 2 elite controller

I managed to get my hands on a series 2 elite controller which is being released officially on November 4th (coming monday). I'm really glad that I got since I have been using a regular xbox one controller for my PC since the new ones have bleutooth capabilities which the elite controllers originally didn't have. I will still be using my old elites on my xbox one but for PC I can finally start using an elite as well :D

Cool video! I purchased mines yesterday Elite Series 2 (Christmas present) and I still have my Elite Series 1 I don't use it that much because I want to keep it looking nice. Lol..

I don't understand the use of rubber. Seems like form over function. The rubber will make your hands sweat over a period of time, more so than the plastic of the original controller. But seriously, who the hell is losing grip of their controller because their hands are too sweaty?! Thats fking gross!

The grabs are with rubbers as the first elite or not? That was the problem more serious with the first elite.

Yes the grips are made of rubber and not textured plastic like on the regular controllers. Similar to the first elite so yeah that's why I said I hope they won't fall off.

Yes The Elite series 2 is a plastic with a rubber coating the whole controller, But with the elite series 2 there's a whole front and a whole back unlike the Elite Series 1 A front a back and those grips on both back sides are Individual pieces partly reason why they pealed off.

O yes forgot to include that in the video :0 if you lift the bottom of the box it reveals the charging cable (3m long I think) and the warranty leaflets as well as a 14 day game pass trail code.

how does the weight of the new controller compare to that of the old Elite? lighter or heavier?

Feels the same to me. The old one weights 342 gram with Xbox own battery pack and the new one weights 330 gram so not much of a difference in feel in my opinion.
