Molly~I did indeed order it on Amazon, after your unboxing for several reasons; first, I also love pretty and magical, rainbows and sparkle, and this meets that criterion instantly. I love your reactions to it: your joy and delight; your laughter is wonderful. I love that you are honest and specific in your review about what you've noticed. Many have said her voice, altho not as sustained as other kalimbas, is also magical and sweet, because no amount of pretty will cover for lack of beauty in an instrument's voice in the end. I do have other kalimbas as well that do resonate... this just seems like a magical 'nother bit of happy to add to the mix. The Amazon link, above, takes me to a Kalimba that appears to be the Kimi, which I want, but is not specified AS the Kimi on Amazon; I am taking a chance and ordering it through your link because of the happiness and sweetness of your self and your clear and excellent unboxing review... and hope you DO get a share of the sale AND that it is, indeed, the Kimi. fingers crossed...

Ooo. I like those rainbow illusions. So cool. Nice playing too. Also, I like that case a lot. The kalimba I have is terrible quality. I suppose it's time for a new one. BTW, I'm doing some mods to my harp today and hoping to have a video up soon. I think you'll like it. :-D

Hi, for starters do you recommend this kalimba? I thought it was so beautiful, and I loved that it’s lighter than normal acrylic kalimba, but I’m afraid to buy it and the sound is bad or it sounds low. (I’m Brazilian and I’m using a translator, sorry for the bad English)

Yes it was tuned, but it needed a bit of time tuning to be perfect 😊
