Silly question: Next time you want to use it, do you clean the previous green compound or just add a fresh layer on top? Thanks! :)

Question: I've seen some other indications to warm up the strop to allow the compound to go into the to the surface of the leather. In your experience, is that necessary ? Thank you.

Agustin Whittaker what I do is heat up the leather, to make the compound go on easier, then I kind of cake it on, and once I feel I have the leather completely covered, I heat it up again, and take a cotton cloth and wipe away the excess, leaving the leather covered completely but not caked. Hope this helps.

Who the fuck measures their bar of rouge and and then describes the shape like no ones ever seen it. That shape happens to be the standard for precious metal melts.

Can this stuff be used on ivory?
@joso5554

Polishing pastes definitely can be used on ivory. One should avoid applying too much pressure or friction to avoid heating.

If you didn't get the results you expected, try Dialux. It's a high quality product made in Europe. Choose the color appropriate for your needs, or buy a sample kit and find the right polish/compound for your application(s). IME, It's no comparison to Chinese products. It's very good. Best of luck.
