Great overview, Vas! Amazing how responsive Arrma is to owner input. The TTT brace, new captured ball ends, and sliding motor mount are all awesome (and will be sought out by owners of earlier versions for sure!). And the new body is so much better - looks like an actual truck, not a spaceship!

Huge improvement on the body. Seriously. I wasn't a fan of the old one. Specifically the cab area. Looks great. Really digging all the improvements. Been looking for a new brand for awhile now to have a RC I'd like to work twords. I think the new Kraton is it.

I think they have nailed it with all the improvements, I think the only thing they could've done would be to include an aluminum servo mount and rubber sealed bearings. Then again it would raise the cost but it would be worth it

When I made a tower to tower brace on my V3, it made my shock towers bend. After replacing them twice , I took off the brace and just bought Voltage Hobbies Upgrades.

The brace is loosen in the front, with one screw, the whole brace reminds of a gigantic turnbuckle. Loosen that screw, pop the cage, and take off the brace 😊 Awsm vid as normal ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

a standing flat plate brace connecting the base plate chassi, and front/rear tower would probably make it bulletproof. Maybe time to take "load calculating programs" working on these kind of bash/crash cars...

@Bill Perri Hey bill I finally got a 6s arrma! Picked up the v4 kraton and I can't tell you how impressed I am! I've never seen one in person as sadly my lhs only carries traxxas 👎. I couldn't believe how big it is! Just such a badass rc. Can't wait for weather to clear so I can take it for a rip! It's a beast! Thinking of selling my 3s typhon I've barely ran yet and grabbing a 6s typhon lol.

VERY nice unboxing VAS!👊 Super stoked about the new V4 rigs and the innovative changes they've done! Love the new bod on the Kraton too. Nice new details for sure! My favorite is the new sliding motor mount and easy center diff removal! Such an ease to work on them now! I feel you on the radio...Nice controls but not a fan of the feel of the throttle. Needs a little more resistance IMO. I was very pleased about the V4 Typhon run. Who knew a buggy could fly so good! First time I've ever sent one with stock tires!😜😂ARRMA TOUGH!😎💪✌✌🍻

I'm so happy arrma shows other rc companies what to do, make actual changes that people ask for not just making the same tired crap year after year with just body color swaps. Great video on what appears to be a worthy new release for Arrma. Just ordered this truck today! Can't wait! This will be my first Arrma. Have owned Tamiya, HPI, Traxxas. Watching videos I have been very impressed with Arrma's products...I hope reality matches what I've seen. Heard about the V4s coming out through the Arrma forum so opted to wait and see. Glad I did. I don't expect it to be bullet proof, but it appears that they've considered the end user and the stresses that 6S power brings to the components. ***WARNING*** Traxxas rant starts now: I was on the verge of picking up a Rustler 4x4 vxl, but watching videos and hearing from owners it doesn't appear Traxxas has improved anything since the XL5 brushed models component wise. I had to replace a majority of my components on my Rustler 2wd vxl so i can run 3S. As a current Traxxas owner i have been disappointed in their products and lack of improvements with known issues as they release "new" models. As a Texan I wish Traxxas would rise to the competition and address known component issues and make their models truly RTR instead of just beefing up the power and putting on the same old XL5 model. It's like dropping a supercharged V8 into an old model T. You'll basically have to rebuild everything around the power house. C'mon Traxxas give us something we can be proud of! Rant over... Anyhoo, can't wait to see what the new Arrma Kraton can do on 6S and CONGRATULATIONS ARRMA!!

I just bought a Outcast and yes I had the steering arm pop off a few times and wheely bar has bent and the wing. I must have recieved a old stoke one as it does not have that body brace, so it must be a V2 or V3 version. But I do like it so I have been thinking of either the Talion or the Kraton for my next one I will ask for the V4 version then.

Just got the kraton 6s v4. That 50/75/100 throttle limiter is bonkers! There is no reverse when you switch to 50/75. Thats crazy on horizon to use the stx2 instead of the tactics ttx300.

They've listened well..I really like the brace....( need to find out how to fit it to my v3). I like the new body post positioning.... the only downgrade is the antenna coming out of the receiver box.... but at least it doesn't need to pop through the bodyshell.... and the transmitter adjustment controls should be covered... so they don't get moved by accident. Also the new connectors would mean buying new charging leads. Great tech review.... and box exiting stage left....as always thanks! : - )

If you look at the specs, the diffs have 10K in the front and rear, center diff has 100,000K, so no diff oil changes needed

Looks good, the tires look a little like just bigger Granite wheels, and I forgot to mention from back on your Typhon unboxing, yeah the radio stuff also bums me out a little, because to use my radio I'd need to get new receivers as well (although I do have a few Tactic radios and receivers without homes, so I could always go back to those, the antennas don't bother me though, all my cars have one that I've paired with my DX4R pro). At least I'll be able to get a few updates to swap into my vehicles that I haven't already attended to.

From what an insider I know here on yt it is in the works and should be announced soon. It be cool to have a 3s Kraton and outcast! Although after I have a 3s granite and typhon and just getting my first 6s kraton (v4) I think all my future rc money is going towards 6s trucks. They are awesome.

I don't get the hate. I mean it has throttle duel rate which the old ones didn't and also the different power levels. What don't you like over the tactic? I just don't understand why the hate.

I can confirm the DX2E is not as good as the Tactic, in fact, nowhere near. The steering feels odd and just doesn't feel as "connected" to the car as with the Tactic. The throttle also feels different, but usable. Despite it having throttle D/R and percentage settings, it's the overall feel that ruins it and whatever features this radio has over the Tactic are null and void. Put simply, the DX2E does not belong with these 6S cars, it's like driving a high powered car sitting on a milk crate and not wearing a seatbelt.
