The holes in the roll bar are for placing light flints in. So when you flip it over it sprays sparks.

The holes in the cage along the outer top gold lighter flints. When you roll the truck it creates a spark show. Hence the stunt truck

This truck has been discontinued at Arrma's website with the Tactic system. It now comes with the Spektrum system instead.

I can understand using good quality connectors, but I use genuine Dean's connectors on my Kraton and Senton with version 2 electronics and with SMC 5000MAH 50C batteries and they work perfectly fine. I can do standing backflips and speed runs to 60mph with no limitations from the connectors. no heat in the connectors, no issues whatsoever. I could see using bigger connectors for really aggressive speed runs, but for normal everyday bashing, Dean's are ok as long as they are the genuine connectors and not the cheap ones.

Amazing truck. I get now why Traxxas will never send you RCs for review. They can't take criticism, and since you've always being honest, they just don't take the risk. You should compare this truck to a Traxxas one though, since they're the most sold here in the US, that will definitely be very, very interesting. Putting an Outcast alongside an Erevo is absolutely a must if we want to be fair about stating that this is the best truck to buy nowadays for stunts.

Now they need one of these beasts with a diff brain setup. Would it be cost effective to have these types of tires belted so they don't balloon so bad at speed? I know they can be taped, but you would have to buy a set of wheels and tires, and do it yourself. I noticed at the 20:20 mark in the video there is a standoff in the battery tray near the velcro strap that goes from side to side. Can that standoff be removed to make more room for a wider battery? I love what they have done with this truck, and I will be getting one this winter. Another great video Vas, and can't wait to see a running video of her.

Looks a good Truggy. The arms didn't look strong to me mate are they? Also the tires look very soft so im wondering how much they will balloon at speed. I have a Ofna 1/8 SS Truggy with Yeti XL motor and the badlands tires i put on will part peal off the rims at high speed. Another thing that concerned me when i went to buy the big rock it had a chemical warning on it? Yiks banned in California.

In California, the chemical warnings are everywhere. It's where I live, and even if I'm buying damn 17mm aluminum wheel hexes, legally California forces Arrma to say that the wheel hexes contain chemicals that cause cancer. I have a big rock. It's not banned in California, I bought it from AMain Hobbies in Chico, California. We don't ban much stuff here, just put warnings that touching anything with one single chemical (in the case of the wheel hexes, the machine oil) will give you cancer. I haven't had an issue with anything RC related being "banned" I don't know where you heard that. But even if you go inside an indoor parking garage, they've got signs up that being in the garage will give you cancer because of the gasoline fumes in an enclosed structure. It's just "cover your ass" stuff because everyone is ready to sue everyone over everything these days. Don't sweat those warnings, and wear gloves when working with RC fluids etc... if you're worried about chemicals. But as for banning stuff, I don't see what you're talking about. I can buy strong brake cleaner with 51% acetone, toluene brake cleaner, ether-based cleaner. In my Californian town, they don't ban products (they wanna make their tax dollars) but you can get a ticket for smoking a cigarette in public. Not indoors, I mean outside in public, like you can do legally in every other city in the universe. No BS. I got a ticket, and if you're not a tourist or a college student, they'll give you a smoking ticket if they feel like it, definitely if someone calls and complains, they'll waste tax dollars and send out an officer to give you a $400 ticket for smoking outside in public.
