Physical CDs are always a great surprise! The last ones I can remember I got were Samus Returns, Bravely Second and I think Xenoblade Chronicles 2. So glad to see your videos again on a regular basis, just as relaxing as always!

Renegade kid / Atooi had some of the best games on 3ds and ds. Synonymous with the system for me

Your thoughts at the end were somewhat why I passed on this one. I love my little 3DS collection I have going but sans Xeodrifter (which I had got in some humble bundle pack I think) and a demo of Mutant Mudds WAY back in the day on 3DS I just didn't have much desire to grab these. Again, none are bad games but it's kind of just a weird choice, especially when they've been physical in other spaces. Also agree on the Vita stuff, love my Vita too but Limited Run was initially heavily supportive of Vita when they came around, seeing some extra love for the Vita was perfect for fans where as this felt more like a too little too late move for 3DS. It'd be nice to see something higher profile on 3DS that got passed over get this kind of attention from Limited Run or someone but sans some text heavy RPGs (stares at the Dragon Quest Monsters remakes) that would probably never get brought over in this way, I can't think of many 3DS games that would get myself or others to chomp at the bit for a hard copy. I think you are definitely on point about Vita games being an easy sell for LRG compared to 3DS because of the what was a newishly formed Vita community and their insatiable lust to support it. I mean LRG first release was for Vita after all. LRG is basically a company that preys on the collector market. Vita was a good choice to start with.

XD Man, I am so out of touch that this being the potential last physical 3DS release is a very big shock to me. Then again, I can't remember the last physical 3DS game I bought. It looks like a nice collection and if I had known about it I MAY have jumped on it. I've played a couple of the games in the collection and enjoyed them, but never really got into them as much as I would have if they were on a cart. Loved the classic TVandLust armchair analysis!

I really wanted to get this when it was up, but could not justify it at the time. Here's hoping the collector's edition pops up on ebay from time to time! I have always had mixed feeling about limited run, but sometimes they just release something I really want. I'm glad they've switched to MOSTLY doing open preorders nowadays.

This is a fitting sendoff for the 3DS. I feel like the Atooi/Renegade Kid games are really representative of what made the 3DS special. It just makes sense in a way that the last game on a system usually doesn't

I've only gotten 3 games from limited run. Shadow Complex on ps4, The Bit.Trip collection on ps4 (I meant to order the vita version and purchased the wrong one), and Bit.Trip Runner 2 on the ps vita.

I just got my limited edition in the mail as well. Still debating whether I want to keep it or not. Although I’m sure the games are good, I don’t have a big affinity for Atooi games and already have a couple of them downloaded on my 3DS. I’m thinking of maybe selling my copy, but worry I might regret it since It might be a piece of 3DS history later on LRG doesn’t decide to produce anymore 3DS games

Another reason it probably didnt sell as fast is the region locking on the game heavily restricted who could even buy it.

Yes, a very good point I forgot to mention. I don’t think this would have stopped any dedicated collectors or enthusiasts, whom I assume are LRG’s primary audience, but it would have definitely deterred any casual buyers.

Nice unboxing. Unfortunately for me, while I do like the releases of LRG, I think it’s more of a double edged sword for me personally. I like the releases, but I don’t like preordering and artificial rarity. I’ve never liked preordering. I just like for reviews to come out before putting down 60-80ish dollars for a game. As for the artificial rarity thing, I suppose it comes with the name and I should be expecting it, but I don’t know. But heck what do I know. As for my personal collecting, I’ve been saving my money. Anyhow, thanks for the video man. I do really enjoy them, as I do hearing your interesting thoughts and opinions. Have a great day!
