How unfortunate. You would think they would double check the boxed sets, since for most a set like this is likely their first entry into the hobby. Not a great way to gain customers. On the flip side I just picked up 4 Bachmann steam engines used from feebay a couple months ago, and I've been running them almost every day. Also have a Bachmann RS3 that runs really good.

Some of those Bachmann sets are worse in quality than Mehano.
