I bought the one with the prosthetic leg. I had to get it because I spent so much time griping about the lack of knee articulation in the fashionistas that had the prosthetic legs. I thought wow, life has been unfair and they have to now wear a prosthetic leg. But they’re doubly effed because it is a useless prosthetic leg. Ain’t that a b. So this new one has articulation in her prosthetic leg. I’m all in. Mobility aids should actually help one be more able bodied - instead of them having to hop around on a peg leg like that guy from SpongeBob SquarePants. 😂

Given the number of Fashionista dolls that have been issued with wheelchairs, it surprised me that the dolls with prosthetic legs couldn’t use the wheelchair! Not being “disablist” - I know people with prosthetics who don’t want wear the limbs all of the time.

Yay, so glad for the uptick in quality from Barbie! I'm happy they're giving us reason to actually pay attention to their releases again lol. Experimenting with fabrics and keeping quality good even on lower priced dolls is such a win! Everything about this is glowing with optimism 😊 ALSO! I just found out a couple days ago that my notifs for likes/comments on my replies were turned off and fixed it. So sorry if it looked like I was ignoring your replies, I literally didn't know about them!

@FaeryTaleDolls yea, I'd turned off comment notifications and kept likes on so that I wouldn't get bombarded for every thread I commented on, but apparently KZbin decided to merge those two settings and turn off like notifs, so I was getting nothing instead of seeing the comments when I clicked on the like notif. Fixed it all up now though!

Typically ( or everytime Ive noticed ) they will give the normal shade of blonde and Mille saran hair. If its a really white hair or something weird, they may be poly. Ive only been collecting for 4 years, but i haven't seen a blonde poly on Barbie yet.

I took advantage of the $5 fashionista sale Target had last week. I like their diverse faces. If the outfit is ugly, I just redress them. Got the Quick Curl, Black, and Blind Barbie.

So glad to see these from Barbie! Honestly love the felt. Meant to be like wool I would guess. I've done it before for some skirts I ripped off for Barbie from some 60s ones I had seen! Love the petite girls braids so much Love the Millie's clothes too! Love a baby doll dress...and the bow! Tights great style, but wish they went all the way to the foot! Even like a stirrup strap so it didn't move up the leg would help! I honestly wish we could get more closed mouth sculpts that aren't Millie. I like her and think she's pretty, she's also a great face for repaints, but there are sooo many of her!

Shes the one I most wanted as well...I ordered her on amazon as soon as she came out and it still gives me a release date for end of january...not sure what the issue is but hopefully she geta released soon.

I collected some Barbie Extra dolls and always felt many of the accessories and pets were wasted on me. Also, some of the dolls had pixelation, and that is almost always a dealbreaker for me, as is poly hair. So, these are an improvement. I also prefer them to the Dream Besties because they seem more targeted at an older audience. They are still $30 in Canada, so I will probably wait until they drop a bit. For comparison, Barbie Extras were $40, but I got most of mine for $30 or less.

I have the one with the braids and shes awesome...very impeessed with her...i ordered the one with the prosthetic leg as soon as she released and atill amazon says it wont be released until end of january. Hopefully she releases soon.

according to the other reviews i’ve seen, the millie doll does indeed have saran hair. 🙂 i don’t have these yet but i do plan to purchase them (and the doll with the black hair and prosthetic leg, if/when she’s ever back in stock).

So hope that these “deluxe style” dolls are priced as play line dolls. This articulation is my favourite and I much prefer to rebody my old Barbie heads onto these bodies. They can sit and move a bit and their elbows and knees don’t look as downright ugly as the m2m. And I noticed that they have the “Style” hands - much nicer than the m2ms. AND back to high heels!!!!! Yaaaaaayyyyyyyy! ps I like the m2m bodies for “full” posing but have more points against them than for, in comparison with the “Style” bodies.

They should just use tights that would work under the shoes, but i guess even really thin material would make the shoes really tight.

Fair warning that the curvy purple haired barbie from this line has poly unfortunately. I actually was influenced by your video to pick these two up. I ordered them on entertainment earth at first but that shipping price was not enticing. Glad I waited, I really like these two.

I’m interested in the Millie even though her face isn’t my favorite. I do think that the face on the braided doll is pretty. However I don’t like her outfit. The pants lay strangely on her to me, and I’m not a fan of color of the outfit. I haven’t decided for sure if I will get any of them or not. Thank you for the great review 😊

The dress won't fit Draculaura in the chest area. I believe it would be too big. Maybe could cinch with a safety pin.

It seems a lot of people are excited about that one, I’m sure they’ll restock online! These are so new I haven’t even heard anyone post about seeing them in store, so probably just sold out for a little bit but will come back
