Batman The Rise and Fall of the Batmen Omnibus by James Tynion IV is on for Unboxing today, only on TheComicBookReport!
This omnibus collects an extensive run of Detective Comics during DC Rebirth. Unlike other Batman titles, this run has a team of bat-family members taking center stage: Batwoman, Tim Drake as Red Robin, Spoiler, Orphan, and even Clayface!
I have not read this run by Tynion, but am eager to get started after how much I loved his series The Woods and Something is Killing the Children.

I plan to when I complete it! I got about halfway in but then have been pulled into other books. This looks fantastic, I'd love to invest in some omnis but I find myself always going down the singles route. Some of the colouring looks phenomenal in this.

Absolutely! Everyone has their preference :) I’ve always preferred collected editions simply because I feel like it’s easier to get a full story-particularly with modern comics. I’m only 100-200 pages in but the art in this book is phenomenal! Thanks for watching :)

This omni looked really good. Loved the artstyle and i'd love to read this one for sure. Not sure though if i should go for TPB's or the entire omni. My LCS has both. Choices choices lol
