Unboxing Bentley Continental GT V8

For this week's unboxing review we bring you the 2016 Bentley Continental GT V8. Obviously it's not the W12-powered version, and that's not a bad thing. Reason is that the V8 model will be more than good enough for mostly everyone. Under the hood lies a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 with 500 hp and 487 lb-ft of torque. Power goes to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic. Performance? Try 0-60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 190 mph, which really ain't bad considering this grand tourer tips the scales at 5,000 pounds. Just to compare, the W12 Continental GT has 582 hp and 531 lb-ft, sprints to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 198 mph. It also costs more and, honestly, the power and performance specs aren't drastically better.
Step inside this big Bentley coupe and you'll find one of the most luxurious interiors money can buy today. That contrast stitching? It costs $1,980. The three-spoke steering wheel? $1,245. You get the point. Although there are tons of standard features, Bentley buyers are known for going crazy on the options, and we can't blame them. There are very few cars like the Bentley Continental GT out there, and without question it's a special thing that you should indulge yourself with, providing you've got the cash. Enjoy the review!

The best car I ever had a chance to drive is 2004 Conti GT. I know it is built around VW Phaeton but it rides much better.
