Your reaction was so cute I'd be exactly the same. I got her imperial highness loose so got her cheap for this reason but she is such a beautiful doll. I'd love to get her in box as the box makes it so special. I had 4 of the dolls as a kid in the uk. I had orphan anya, your dimitri, opera anya the metallic version and once upon a december. I remember my mum asking me if I wanted her father but I said no as her wanted her to dance with Dimitri, I so wish I said yes now as hes do expensive. I now have the skating doll too but I plan to get them all xx

This was my favorite movie as a child. I loved Anastasia and Dimitri as well as the other characters! The film's "Journey to the Past" introduced me to my favorite entertainer Aaliyah (who also passed)...there are just so many memories and emotions linked to this film. I've been contemplating starting my Anastasia collection, and it has taken me some time (since I collect a variety of doll lines from my childhood, but your video has encouraged me to start prioritizing this lovely collection. The broadway show will be coming to my area soon, so I'm hoping to get a couple in my collection before then. Thanks for sharing!

I had the doll with her blue dress going to the theatre. Sadly got rid of the doll with the rest of my Barbies but she was well played with. I kept the binoculars and have the plastic toy jewellery box. I just looked it up on EBay and someone’s selling theirs for like $400, I would never sell mine! I have some of the characters too and had the computer game. I also had a nightie at the time and probably more things but I’ve loved this film since I was a child so I would’ve reacted the same as you. The real life story is so sad, wish they didn’t go through all that at the end of their lives 😔
