Unboxing Bumblebee & Blitzwing!

Hey dude, I’ve been watching your videos for quite a while now and I just want to say I love them. I seen your video the other day, about the trouble with the algorithm, and all I have to say is don’t give up. Me and many other love these videos that you make (especially the discussions). Basically what I’m trying to say is that try not worry about what your viewers want and find what you want.

I love both figures. I got Bumblebee a few weeks ago on my birthday and i got Blitzwing almost a year ago during a sale, he was only $27! He's not a great leader but he's an amazing deluxe 😂 To answer your question, i have little brothers that really couldn't care less about SS 86. They love the main Studio Series line, especially the Bumblebee movie and ROTB figures. But 86 seems to be bought by purely Adults because kids have no attachment to the G1 versions. They like the new iterations of the characters better.

The jet mode is a joke. He is down for less than $25 on eBay, which is about the fair price.

I love the new Bee.. only thing that was bugging me was the dark windows as opposed to all the light blue of the most recent recolor G1 releases. So right now Toyhax is running a promo on 4 different window stickers for 1 penny. So I jumped on the matte powder blue window stickers.. and I have to say it makes a world of difference for me regarding this figure. Even up close it looks as though it was painted, and he fits so well with his other toon mates (especially SS86 Cliffjumper;)

Blitzwing is really great, Just the coloring is meh, thats why we're having him with G1 colors on dramatic capture

I got Blitzwing couple of months ago on a great discount from Smyth's. £22 absolutely well worth it for that. Those red hand weapons are complete junk tho! Bumblebee is ok. Iv recently added him to my growing Autobot army. I'm also fortunate enough to own him in his Goldbug form. I don't av cliffjumper yet so I'm hoping Hasbro redo him in a smaller form similar to 86 bumblebee. U got a chuckle out of me with the asmr reference 😁

I do wish Bee had another accessory to round out the price point and it's a shame about the mismatched yellow and black windows (I got Toyhax labels to fix the colors and he looks a lot better now imo) but I can't deny he's a great Bee, design looks pretty accurate to the cartoon, nice articulation, and the transformation is fun and interesting. Never understood the hate the fandom seems to have for Legacy Blitzwing, he's not perfect but I think he's still pretty good. Yeah, his jet mode is kind of blocky and kibbly, but that's pretty much how Blitzwing's jet is supposed to be. Really don't like those giant fist things though, they just look goofy to me and because they used the translucent red for those, that means Blitz doesn't have the blue cockpit he's supposed to have.

He really fits in nicely with the other Decepticons on display. And honestly - I don't think I'd have him in jet mode much - unless I bought a stand!

I've seen a way of unclipping the kibble from the base of Blitzwing in his Plane form that makes it look a lot better in that mode, but like you say, it would be parts-forming.

I don't think it necessarily matters if you're the first to review something, as long as you're passionate and interested in the product (whether it's good or bad). Also, lots of collectors might search for these unboxing reviews years later, and then it won't matter if you were the first or the fiftieth to review Bumblebee.
