We had the egg hunt and baskets in the morning before church and then we had the luncheon after the service and we spent the afternoon at a friend's house in the pool. The water was a bit too cool for my taste but the kids love it so what can you do? And then we all went to sleep kind of sick from all the junk. Olivia couldn't sleep, I felt like I was a slug and Liz has had a stomach ache since then 🤢🤕😖

1st off...Who is it that sings Amazing Grace at the start of this!?! Talk about stunning!! Two more beautiful versions I can recommend : Peter Hollens & Home Free did a lovely job w/the harmonies & blending them all together into a really beautiful rendition of Amazing Grace. My very, very, very favourite though is by a New Zealand singer Haley Westenra. If you go to the search function here & type in Christchurch Earthquake Memorial Service Amazing Grace. That should take you straight to it & be prepared to be blown away!! I had her version from an Album made to commemorate The Queen's Diamond Jubilee & Brad Paisley's The Old Rugged Cross on standby on my iPad for my Dad's Funeral in case the Organist couldn't make it. Dad adored Amazing Grace & Haley's version in particular. As for The Old Rugged Cross...I can't remember a time when Dad wasn't singing, humming or whistling it. It's gotten easier to listen to them the last year & a bit, but at times...Yeah. 😊 Wow....Did Heather spoil you or what!?! I love that basket & the votive candle holder. I'd been thrilled w/just the basket, as that would've been filled w/craft supplies so fast!! 😄😄. BTW...Did you happen to notice that basket is both the same colours & placement of the colours as on Pooh Bear's Hunny Pot? Just a lil something I picked up on. 😁. That verse she found in the Star Wars opening font...A pity she didn't find the perfect thing for you, huh!?! 😁😉😄 This was such a great idea & I'm enjoying watching everyone's unboxing, but if I don't go get my charge cord I won't be watching too many more!!
