Congratulations on making a good choice for a first drone. Keep in mind that the app control via phone has a very limited range. Please heed the warnings not to fly close to surface of water, especially if not using the controller. It will land itself in the water. If you want to fly over water, use the controller and fly further from the surface of the water. If you haven't done so yet, spend the few bucks to get DJI Care while you can. Good luck, you're off to a great start in a great hobby.

What mode do you press to be able to cruise around ?

I’ve mostly been flying in normal mode some times cine for smoother shots. Sport is too choppy. I haven’t tried the cruise control yet.
