Unboxing & first impressions of Casio Oceanus OCW-T6000 Briefing Collab Model

This is the Casio Oceanus OCW-T6000, a collaboration model with Briefing, a Japanese maker of mil spec apparel.
This watch was loaned out to me by Eric on the last day of 20223 and due to poor health, I only managed to get this video out today.
This watch has all the good stuff in terms of functionality and build quality. The dial architecture is exceptional and comparable to Seiko Astron or GS. This Oceanus has Bluetooth pairing capability to the Casio Watch app.

I just want to share my pros and cons in case you didn't make it through the entire video Cons Integrated bracelet Lighter titanium makes the bracelet feel jingly jangly Oceanus is not serviceable in Singapore, needs to be sent to Japan In Singapore, unable to receive multi band 6 Pros This is a top end Casio as well as Oceanus You are getting plenty of functionality The finishing on the dial furniture is superb and while pretty pricey, you can feel the significant difference between this and an entry level T or S 200

Great Watch ! In fact I think the entire Oceanus lineup just does not get the love it deserves ! They are a thing of beauty and the styling is awesome . 😊

If MRG is the highest end of GShock, is the Oceanus is the Highest end of Edifice? Just wondering. Great video anyway.

Oceanus is a separate line from Edifice. Oceanus is definitely higher end than all the other Casio lines.

Yes, the watch was bought in Japan. They do not have it in the Casio shops in Singapore.

Thanks for this. For the 200 series you are right. But for this 6000 series, it seems to be the other way round. Maybe there is no link with the letters?
