I am more of a Sig guy. I have tried many different glocks and they just dont work for me. Grips are usually too thick on a 17/19. On the 26 its short and thick. However the 43x... man... it just felt so smooth and perfect.

WARNING: Be careful with *_red-dots on self-defence/carry pistols_:* - as they can fog up in Winter, - fog up entering & leaving varying climate rooms/spaces - fog indoor to outdoor situations (& vice versa). Also, you have to practice a lot to find that red-dot _in the_ red-dot sight *_under stress._* There is the addition of more mechanical items that can malfunction to simple self-defense point & shoot seems *not wise.* God bless

That’s why it still has sights on it that are useable
@elocsepins3 жыл бұрын
It is possible for it to fog up. I disagree with you last statement. With training the dot is much quicker to find and you will have to spend the money on a well tested optic. They have become very reliable and are starting to be used and many law enforcement offices. The iron sights take the same amount of training and are arguably harder to get the sight picture
@sweetcostarica3 жыл бұрын
@@elocsepins No, problem disagreeing as I am not trying to convince anyone. I am just cautioning ⚠️. Red dots sights on handguns are for the people that practice often with it and professionals. Red Dots are not for beginners up to average shooters due to the problems/issues mentioned. I am very gun savvy (US Navy, 45 years of shooting, practiced at times twice a week) and I have only stock handguns (two Glocks), save for the night sights I always add to my guns. Merry Christmas 🤶 🎄.

Now they need to revamp The 43 give it gen 5 features like a slide similar to the 43X and a flush 10 round mag with an extended 15 and optics ready!!! 😂😂
@JacksonWalter7353 жыл бұрын
Yes please. Still waiting for that. The 43x is nice, but sometimes I just want a smaller grip without sacrificing capacity in certain situations. A Glock 43 size pistol that holds 10 rounds with a flush fit mag and the option for a 13 or 15 round extended mag that brings the grip similar to a 43x size grip would be perfect.

In 2001 Cali implemented some rules that all new manufacturered handguns had to meet to be eligible for sale in California. Loaded chamber indicator and some other BS. Glock gen 3s and under were grandfathered in. You can’t get a Glock beyond gen 3 in Cali.

Trijicon RMRcc can be had for around $450ish, with a MSRP of $599. Holosun 507k V2 can be had for around $250ish with a shake and wake 50k battery life. You need a plate for both, as Glock had the cut specifically for a wack red dot. Plates can be bought at CHWP for your specific mini RDS.

@srchnfrcj5 ай бұрын
Yeah, don't point it at anything you don't intend to hit and keep your trigger outside of the guard until you're ready to shoot. Treat every gun as if its loaded and you will be good. A safety is like any mechanical device...it can fail. Proper gun safety and handling never will. Hope this helps and enjoy your new piece. 😊
