Where is the sensor on the Blue 211i Max? Mine is registering 999 ... the sensor might be clogged from what I have researched.

Um.. it didn't say on the manual. I would think the sensor is at the top where the display is. Better to call or email blueair and find out.

I just bought one from amazon, and returned it to get a replacement because the outside finish box with information and pictures printed on it ( which show in this video clip) didn’t come with the machine, instead of a regular moving carton box . The replacement I got just had the same moving carton box . I just don’t know why? , I got tire of the returning process, so I keep the replacement machine (211 I Max) .

How did you connect the app to the 211i Max + ? Is it considered a classic? My app only gives 6 choices of machine types (Protect, Classic, Dust collector, etc.) I've searched online, watched videos... I have the Protect 7770i and it was simple to connect. I'm at a loss...

Um.. I don't have the + model. Connecting the app should be the same process through the home network then connect to your device app. Sound like u have a different model with more feature settings. Mine showing the air quality, on/off, fan speed, night model, auto model, child lock, schedule , setting and welcome home feature.

I like blueair better stronger. I do feel my respiratory was better when there was a wild fire from Canada. It does help on me.

I bought this for VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), today is my first day but do you think it would help with this? It says my air quality is excellent but I know it’s not, so far it’s been 8 hours.

No. VOC’s are not significantly changed by filtration (think of voc’s as chemicals in the air). These filters filter particles in the air. Carbon filters can help reduce VOC’s but the carbon on these filters is not significant to make much of a difference.

My apartment is covered in VOC from outside metal paint that my father used. He's an idiot in case you ask why he used that paint indoors. So since September I've been living in my car trying to figure out a way to fix the apartment. I threw out the stuff he painted. Which is the kitchen cabinets and counter. The kitchen is now empty. But the chemicals already latched onto everything else in the apartment

Since it has an app... is it a product that won't work if you don't download the apps updates etc. I've had s product that dont that in the past. The big one seems better as you don't need the app, well for part of what you have explained. It would be good if people would highlight these points more. It's like Apple vs Android

It still work without an app. With app u can set schedule and view more detail filter usage, etc.

Thanks for the video but a couple of things. Putting your microphone right against the top of the purifier, no one can hear or understand you and no one is going to press their ear against the top of the purifier anyway so it is not helpful. A video is worthless if you can't hear the information.

Rubbish...That's your opinion.....I have NO trouble understanding EVERYTHING she said. If it's that hard for you, turn on CC (closed caption). Her enunciation is SO good that the CC hears and interprets her words so you can READ IT. And I am from the states, English being my language, F'YI.

she is all wrong. She said that the 311i mas is 349 and the 211i max is 229. she was wrong the prices is the other way around. And I don't think she like the new 211i Max because is shakes to much and not giving good air flow.

Oh and dont forget to pay for marketing, promotional rebates and keep funds aside for returns and customer service. I'll be happy to purchase it from you at $80. Those cheaper amazon units are most likely not the same.
