First Inktober here. I'm not yet familiar with the subscription boxes, but wow - $80 for something you're unhappy with? I agree, good thing they're discontinuing that. Do you have a single video or playlist featuring your reviews of the others? Good luck! 🎨

@@fleurdeb7803 Well, luckily you don’t have to get a subscription box to participate! As far as a I know, Art Snacks is the only place who has a subscription box for Inktober. And yeah, I think they probably won’t be doing it anymore. Who knows. I have two inktober playlists for 2022 and 2023. I was saving my unboxing as a surprise and purposely didnt want to see what it came with, until october 1rst. and i am severely disappointed. I think this is the last year ill buy from them for inktober.

SOOOO glad I didn't purchase this box! I already have everything in it, except the artist's cover and stickers. There's absolutely nothing new or innovative in there, everything has been in their other boxes, some multiple times. None of their boxes have been worth it for some time, and always the same products over again and duplicated in their "special" boxes. I'm excited for SketchBox's October box coming out soon. They were my first subscription box, and remain the only one I have currently.

@@ApohMay I agree. I don’t know why I decided to give them another try. I used to just do the inktober boxes after I stopped my subscription but I thought maybe they amped up their quarterly boxes. Nope. At least Sketchbox and Paletteful Packs still offer good boxes ❤️

Me too I have literally the same thing in this box there is no special colors or even any special new type of item. I domt like this box at all. But I do like the artists cute drawings no hate to them I'm just mad at artsnacks, they really disappointed alot of us.

@mattiekitty yeah totally i don't hate their art at all I never would bash them but maybe if we gave artsnacks the feedback they can improve. I always buy the ink box just so I dont feel left out from the October drawing prompts. It's nice to enjoy something fun and seasonal but yeah. Even the prompt list they gave is a bit strange.

@@wolfrikgreen I also noticed two repeat prompts from last year! I mean you figure things like “pumpkin” or “spooky’ would show up every year, but two specific, non-Halloween, prompts are exactly from last year’s list. Frog Friend and Blanket Fort.

I was extremely disgusted with this box. It was a complete rip off, I honestly feel like the company should be a little ashamed of themselves here and this box was the last purchase I will ever make from them

@@shannon263 idk what’s going on with them. I got an email a few weeks back saying there would be no more boxes and today I had an email asking to subscribe to their watercolor box subscription. Totally agree with you on the inktober box though. I remember past years getting really cool things like a nice sketchbook and an embroidered pencil case. Feels like they just gave up this year.

@@Smileychop I know right? Yeah it was $70 for the box and then $10 for shipping. They listed the price of the paper pad at $39 - as if!

@@mattiekitty that’s frightening and I feel that they are taking the Mickey out of their customers as I feel this is a poor box. We don’t have artsnacks in the UK but I know we can order them but postage is too expensive but I really wanted the inktober box but I’m so so glad I did not see it as I would have felt ripped off! And like you I’ve seen the sketchbook cover before in a previous year.

@@Smileychop yeah, it’s definitely not worth the extra postage to the UK. Especially this year. The sketch pad cover is different than last year, it just reminds of the art from last year. Last year had cats on it too, but it was different for sure.

I think this was 75$ this is daylight robbery 😢 that’s half the price on any other art store. Stop supporting predatory businesses! Use your money wisely

@@Aleksasimulation yeah - it is not up to its usual level. I’ve been pretty happy with the inktober boxes in the past but this really feels thrown together. I do like at least a few of the prompts - so hopefully my inktober pieces will be good ones!
