Big question is if your new setup caught that much in 2 days, how much did the old trash can catch in 2 days. While this is bigger than what a home shop might need, you can't put a price on air quality.

Well you talked me out of buying this even though I make cheese slices too 😂 and I’m usually only in my garage a few saturdays a month , my G1029Z2P seems to work good enough . Don’t get wrong I still want one just don’t need it at this time. Great video

is that thin hose from the top to the bottom really needed? Other cylcones dont have a hose like that. What happens if you remove it and block off the openings?

That hose maintains air flow throughout the system. Other systems don’t have that and the air only travels through the top of the unit. Better airflow means better collection. I’m sure it could run without but Grizzly engineers thought it was a good idea 🤷‍♂️

The small hose is for if you want to use a bag in the lower bin. It creates a vacuum on the outside of the bag keeping it in the bin and not getting sucked up into the top of the cyclone.

If you didnt have the stand you would have to disconnect the thin hose from the can also.

Bad ass dust collection system and the floor looks like you have no dust collection system, especially around the dust collection system. I know, nothing is 100%. Just bustin' your balls. But damn....

😂😂😂 we definitely ought to be cleaning more. We’ve got a miter saw, 2 table saws, a hole boring machine and a Kreg foreman all in this one area. It’s a dust trap for sure
