Your laugh gives your feelings away. I get the same way when I feel overwhelmed. @lisettecraftandtells is the Queen of DPD IMO, she has done huge JW with Double-Sided Adhesive. You gotta love it. Thankfully there are DPers who would love this canvas. It is very cool. Reminds me a Klimts Goldfish canvas. ❤️

Taking double-sided adhesive off the canvas is pretty easy and then we just put the glue that you get from Diamond Art Club or diamond dots and it works great.

I love double-sided adhesive they do need your patience but if I love and I mean love the art I will get it.

I really want to try a Diamond Painting Deutschland J Wall kit at some point. I don’t know if I would like double sided adhesive but I hate slippery glue so maybe I wouldn’t mind it. This is a beautiful painting and I bet the finished Diamond painting will be beautiful too.

Anthony. I encourage you to try working on this beautiful canvas. The first diamond art project I worked on was an inexpensive kit. I did everything wrong. Rolled it backwards so there were rivers, had drills that would not stay on the glue and the image was too small. It was a mess. But I learned what NOT to do. Fast forward to my JWall from DPD. It was a joy to work on. Keep it covered and work by section. Cut that big bulky legend off and figure out how best to work with the drills. I started out just working by DMC number but found it easier to organize by symbol themes. Use this as a learning moment. That said, I’ll still take it!!!😂😂😂

Thanks for the tips and advice. I did go back and forth in my head about wanting to give it a shot…but I think the combination of the size, drill count, and the adhesive will just be a lot. Especially now that I’ve really found myself gravitating to shops/materials that are just easy. That may sound lazy but that’s kind of where I am with the craft right now…as few hurdles as possible haha! Plus I know if I start it and end up hating it…it will end up in the garbage unfortunately. I did have someone local snag it so I know it’s going to good hands. Thanks again and have an excellent day! :)

You can take the Double Sided Adhesive off and apply DP Glue by DAC Or Sticky glue from Diamond Dots you would need about 3 layers of glue and turn it into a Poured Glue canvas.

Aufgebrachte Klebefolie.. means double sided adhesive.. there is no other options. My DP from bluemex aka diamond painting Deutschland is poured glue. Lucky me only 100 Colors but 50*200. But the image is beautiful ( sry for my bad English)

Yeah I’m right there with you. Maybe I will try a small kit in double sided adhesive in the future to see if my tastes are different…but I just can’t imagine at this size and color count. Thanks for watching! :)

What a shame. It's so beautiful. But storage is an issue with projects of that size. You obviously aren't going to sit down and complete that in one sitting and need to be able to roll it up and store it day by day. Thanks for sharing though.

Of course and thanks for watching. Yeah the only way to do that would be to roll the drills in on themselves and that wouldn’t work either. It just wasn’t meant to be I suppose.
