Problem is this rig has horrible steering out of the box. It looks great though. Most of the rigs out there are quite terrible at 150 bucks range especially the exceed rc original. This one looks better and having a brushless motor definitely makes it quieter. Clearly it came out of the box with bad lubrification. You can hear the rattling of the gears and all the moving components. I bought the Redcat racing rig with brushed motor at a similar price point to this and it also suffered from noisy rattling. The whole point of electric vehicles is for them to be quieter than nitro rc cars. Well it is the industry standard so just make sure you buy greases and make sure to do proper maintenance in order to keep your gears lasting a long time.

I was actually wondering if one could use a touring car to drift. I currently have a 1/10 vrx x-ranger touring rc car which originally came in with a brushed motor, and a ford gt body(which I later changed to a gt86 body and swapped the tires for drifting ones), but I converted to brushless, resulting in the middle shaft loosening up which gave me doubts if it's suitable for drifting. Well at least I know it can be used for drifting now. Thanks for the video and tips bro
