I put 2 of these in a VW GTI, powered with a 2,500 watts RMS Crescendo amplifier. I tapped out when I gave the owner a demo, but it really didn't sound that loud. Custom 4.5ft3 birch plywood box built by me. 10" Massive pro midbass in MDF/fiberglass enclosure (also built by me) with TW44 horns, 4 PRV 6.5" in doors on MTX Thunder 75 × 4

I got a 99 Durango. I can’t wait to put a high powered single sub in it. Biggest I had is 800 rms subwoofer. I like to be able to run a solid 1500 rms subwoofer that will actually run that. At least a continuous 1000rms on any given song. Ported enclosure. Then maybe, 6 Ten Inch subwoofers in my Santa Fe. Something around 400 rms a sub.

I could be wrong but I think the HD 12 would out preform the massive. I’ve shattered many windshields with 2 HD 18’s. One of my favorites.

The best sub they had before boa came out was massive gordo 12s 15s and 18s hippo bows to the gordo they was not to be reckoned with.
