This is a classic character. I think he was first introduced in the 80's and had his own comic for a little while. This seems to be a more updated version of the character.

It’s a fun figure. It seems like it’s sold out online everywhere. I’ll keep an eye out to get one. I heard he is from another dimension and gets super powers. Why do you where the gloves when checking out figures? You’re going to put them back in the box to keep mint in box?
