The same opinion. M1 Air with 16 Ram is enough for approximately 90% people. And I don't see any reasone to buy m3 max. It's just waste of money. It's better to build a pc with 4080 and 13700k or 7900x. I can't image a persone who walking around and make a 3d model or render 8k video.
