Nice video!!! Have the same machine as you, just to note that the pump pressure is slightly on the higher side at about 10-11 bars, u can adjust it at the opv valve to lower the pressure to about 9 such that the coffee is not to bitter. But wow $4000 for this setup is slightly expensive 😱 got my machine for roughly $1950 sgd

Beautiful machine. I know it takes longer than other coffee alternatives, but the taste of espresso and your involvement with the final product make it a worthwhile investment. I don't own a espresso machine, but I like being thorough with my infusions (especially tea and mate, I would love to assist to a traditional Japanese tea ceremony)

Did you pay $4000 for the machine and grinder together? That's still way overpriced. The Mara X is $2000 in Canada. Hopefully you didn't pay all that for the machine, is so, that's a complete rip off for HX machine. For that amount of money, you could have got a dual boiler machine.

I was fortunate enough to not pay the machine as these videos are in partnership with Edika, but machine+grinder+taxes+ accessories (I have the wodden accent coming soon) goes around that price point!
