@@h.m.2434 With the color, they might all be individually hand painted, which would make each slightly unique. But I can't confirm that. I do agree that the one pictured on Sweetwater looks different than the one I own. As for the case, you are correct. It does not come with one.

I have the Fishman Fluence moderns and the KSE models, and a whole bunch of EMGs (81, 81X, Het Set, 57, Retro-Active 55s and 77s) in my guitars. What I can say is that they're all great. It depends very much on the guitar they're installed in, but the Fishmans generally have a different top end, very biting. They're extremely tight - might be too unforgiving for some - and sound a little bit more "processed" than EMGs, for the lack of a better word. They track extremely precisely and will cut through anything. The 81 is very tight as well, but has a different type of compression - stiffer with a broader EQ. EMGs I feel are generally a bit more muscular, more low mids, and the attack and tone depend on the model. In my experience tonewise the most similar to the Fishmans would actually be the Hetfield bridge, although it has more growl and somewhat less of that typical Fishman top end clarity. The 57 is a way looser, more "organic" sounding pickup, while the Retro-Actives sound more passive than active.

After cycling through my stable of axes for the last few months I always come back to this new te1000 black blast at the end of the night! Its finding its place in my arsenal, and it's at the top!

I absolutely love your M-II there! Something similar for the future would be a consideration. Just ordered two guitars lately, the first was an LTD Deluxe 1000 Arrow in Charcoal Burst while the second one is an E-II M-II in Urban Camo. They delivered the Arrow yesterday and it is such a striking and stunning asymmetric V that sounds like an absolute raging demon thanks to the pair of Fishmans and it's dynamics. The E-II is still in the ordering process by the shop, they haven't got any in stock but are trying to get one in for me. I've wanted an E-II M-Series since my teens (as they were known and ESP Standards back then) so I splashed out a bit more to finally make that happen. Loving your videos Rob and Chimaira was the soundtrack to my metalhead days in the 2000's. Cheers \M/

Seems like all the new line of LTD/ESP have been rad. Been loving my new Eclipse Evertune. Got a silver binding and a chrome Evertune bridge on it. The EMGs have some sort of chrome finish as well, with an 81 in the bridge, and a new EMG style in the neck that has a split coil feature like those Fishmans. Can't wait to get my hands on the new EX lines with the Evertune.

Cool Andrea! My advice is to place your order now man so that you're in line! I'm currently in line for a couple items myself right now, because I've learned the hard way... Typically when dealers like Sweetwater or whatever receive a shipment of a certain item, they'll only get a couple or a few of that item, especially on higher ticket items like this. I own a 1007HT (basically this^ guitar but as 7-string) and the setup I got out of the box is quite literally the best setup I have ever been able to achieve. I also own a couple of custom guitars which are all 3000$+ and I barely get the same low action feel with them even after I spent good time setting them up to my specs. If this guitar had Stainless steel frets it would be perfect. Incredible guitar for sure though.

Thankfully it only reaches £1000 here for the seven string version which is expensive but certainly doable. Was very glad to find this because I honestly just wanted a nice seven (m1007 ht) with a binding and good pickups that looks like it could be used by architects(even though they don't use 7s) or someone modern/djenty

I really wanted this guitar so baaad. I had M-330R that I sold, really love the fast neck and contoured body. But now I got the 2020 model of H-1001 STB and I love it. Hipshot bridge are game changer for me. As you said, really easy to intonate. And it came with SD Pegasus Sentient, at first I don't really love it compared to JB/Jazz combo but now it started to grow on me. Still hoping to snag this M-1000 tho, killer guitar.

I Bought one of these back in July.Just like you I was looking for a Hipshot hard tail even though i am primarily a Floyd rose user. I wanted something I could switch tunings easily for learning different riffs and songs. Wasn't too sure about the fishmans pickups at first. They grew on me but some days I am still not sure. Quality and playability of mine was top notch. Very impressed with the neck. Very thin and love the satin neck finish. Look forward to you comparing the two different m1000's

This is the guitar of my dreams. Right now I have the ESP LTD EC-1000 in the vintage black with all the hardware gold. I do really like the guitar but overtime I've found a limiting factor to me being able to play what I want the the arthritis I have it becomes quite painful trying to almost float your hand over the bridge. Because with the Tune-o-matic or whatever they are called they raise the strings over the body hence why you see the black pickup things surrounding them so they can raise the pickups but when you look at this guitar you dont seem them cause they bridge is already low. So as much as I love that EC (my first real guitar was an les paul studios and I had another one as well after that one and they were just so heavy and didn't fit the playing I wanted), I'm probably going to hang on to the EC unless I need the money for something else. But yeah this guitar is definitely the one for me, everything I want, a natural looking wood finish, fishman fluences, and really aggressive strat look, the low action and a neck that is inline with the strings cause I've heard (though I dont know how true it is, and also something about tuning stability). The only thing I want to do is take the neck off and do my own custom inlays on the fretboard, of course I try on some cheap ebay necks first until I felt comfortable with the results. I want to put some norse runes into the fret board ask markers. I wonder if theres a place I can buy replacement necks for this model??

Since this guitar has a neck thru design, (not bolt on), you really can't swap out the neck. You may however be able to have custom inlays installed if you know the right person for the job. 🎸

I noticed a lot more chord clarity when i swapped one of my LTD’s to fishman moderns. Did a electronics cover to rechargable battery pack mod. Still have the emg81’s in 1 guitar, but i like these better overall. Maybe it is the gain making them feel tighter. Fishman merrows are muddier than the moderns and 81’s.

Rob, if you could buy just one guitar (which is my case), would you choose a hipshot fixed + fishman (like the one on this video) or an evertune + EMG one (like the mh dark brown sunburst you have)? Looks aside. Thank you very much.

Man that's tough but if you're looking for an every day player, then I'd go with hipshot style bridge. I love the Evertune, but I consider it a more specialized tool that I only reach for in certain situations. If I were stranded on an island, I'd take a fixed bridge because it's easier to do everything with... string changes, tuning changes, etc. It's just more versatile. As for the pickups, the difference is negligible. Blindfolded, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference . But gun to my head, I'd go with EMG because it's what I'm more familiar with.

Hi...can u explain about fretboard ... width and shape...im so confused between extra thin u and super wizard neck...i had a cort x1 about 4 years...who can guide me?

Best I can do is tell you that the fret board feels great, and then point you to the specs on esp.com 👉 www.espguitars.com/products/21854-m-1000ht Oh also, the extra thin u refers to the neck shape, not the fret board. So extra thin u might feel small in your hand compared to a Gibson Les Paul neck which is much fatter and bulkier. I've never heard of a super wizard neck. 🎸

My first real metal guitar was an LTD H-100. A bit of a lower end guitar but I played the hell put of that thing. Threw some EMGs in it and sounds great. Played all my shows and records with it.

I'm debating between this and the TE1000 SW. TE has the cooler colour imo, M the nicer shape and headstock. TE has 42mm nut, this 43. Which one feels nicer to you, since you played both?

Man... it's tough to say, and it ultimately comes down to which body style you prefer, because they're so different. Each style makes its own statement. But gun to my head, here are my thoughts... I'm an M guy, and I'd take an M over a TE every day of the week. No hesitation. However, the TE felt slightly better in terms of quality. It felt more solid in construction, and was a little smoother to play. Maybe that's due to its weight and material? I'm not sure! But if I'm about to hit the stage, and these two guitars are the only ones in my boat, I'm walking out with the M-1000HT🎸
