Honestly if you live in a city and are close to work--this is the way to go.This would have been great years ago when i lived in ATL--I spent about 90% of my time within a 5 mile radius for about 3 years--work--entertainment--etc all within a few miles.The off road abilities are also very good on these which makes them ideal in incelmemt weather or if you need to go off road.

This is a fantastic video. I unboxed mine earlier today and will put it together with confidence after watching this. Maybe compress the front forks a couple time before tightening the pinch bolts? Some torque specs would be nice as well but maybe it’s not as important as on a full size dirt bike. Great job!!

Thanks for the great video. In the UK the front and rear brakes on bicycles come like the Sur-Ron. As it should be, right side front brake. I switch all of my bicycles around that way. Too confusing as I ride moto a lot

Great vid guys! After having it for a while, can you give a good estimate on range? Maybe doing 50% of throttle (25 MPH), 190 lb rider on flat ground? I know it's difficult doing range tests. Just a ball park would be fine.

There is a GREEN LOOPED wire that can be cut going to the limiter that unlocks the speed output on these SUR RON bikes.Look it up it's legit and the increase is OUTSTANDING.

It can go a good 100 miles on a charge. Yes depending on terrain and riding style it can drain the battery faster but on the down hills it has an active braking that will also generate a small charge and help charge the battery a bit. The price in the US is 3,800 shipped but I didn't show how to put a sticker on I showed how to put about 9 stickers on lol. 🐝

Only one problem with your dual rotor front brake idea. How are you planning to attach the second rotor to the hub? The wheel doesn’t have an attachment on both sides!

How much more can you raise the back suspension, what 21 inch wheel for the front do you recommend or other mods? Oh, so that's what the pad was for. I forgot it in the box, thought it was a used decal or something. I'm not sure why the killah forks cost twice as much as the dnm on the web. I thought everyone in the US automatically gets it with the killah forks.

on 100% charge it can go around 80 km or around 50 Miles and that corolates to 4-5 hrs of non stop riding before it dies hope this helps :)

I just got mine. Did you feel or hear somewhat of a vibration sound from what I think is the chain. Even when you just push the bike without throttling it you can hear a little bit of vibrations. Also did you have to adjust the shock mine were a little loose. If so how do you do that? Thank you.

I did not notice anything like you are mentioning but personally it sounds like the chain could be to tight. The shock on this one was nice and tight and haven't adjusted it. Sorry that's probably not much help.

I just got a notice that mine had shipped and will be here of Friday. I already have new bars, tires and tubes, rear fender and faux pedal kit. I live on a military base and it has to have pedals or I have to put blinkers, stop light and mirrors and I don't want to do that.

I dunno, I disagree and say put some blinkers and all that and rip the thing like a motorcycle. The thought of a pedal hitting the ground while turning accidentally scares the crap out of me.

Great video. Just got mine today. It had an extra wiring harness in the box, about 6 inches long with the same connectors like the wires that connect to the controller. Any idea what that is for?

its for the regen braking so basically with that wire you can adjust it and the regen means that as you hit the breaks it will shut off the motor so you can have it to where it will shut off when you brake or you can turn regen off and the motor will stay on and the wheel will just spin there are tons of vids on it just search " sur ron regen braking" you will get a couple vids that explain it in better deatail hope this helps :)

It really is dependent on where it is being rode at and the riding style but it does have good range for an e-bike. 🐝

The website (Luna Cycles) says in low setting you get a 40 mile range.

@@truthofgod6213 can't wait for the technology to get better and these ranges to increase to the 100mi range so with normal riding you'll get atleast 40-60 depending on terrain
