Mega Harry!!! The Magnetic Visor system is to actually help prevent rotational forces when the visor digs in to the ground, as it 'breaks away'. Also the little Blue pads are a 'Fluid Inside' system that also helps with rotational forces... Basically a 1 up from MIPS. I actually work for Fox South Africa and have been riding my RPC for a few years, amazing helmets.. The new ones are super rad though, specially with the Visor and 'Fluid Inside'.

The helmet is sick!!! Try a set of Oakley crowbar goggles, they fit amazing. I've owned a ton of Fox motocross gear and never had any complaints. I think they're a really good company.
