It's nice of Amazon to give us 2022 Scribe users all of the AI goodies and Active Canvas features, even if the AI stuff will be in a few months time. I know the underlying hardware is the same on this but I have to say that colour and the improved pen look great!

you can put an apple pen case on your scribe pen case! i have one on my kobo and even tho it has the button i can still push it while its in the case

Thank you beautiful for a nice unboxing video ❤. I loved watching it. I own the Kindle Scribe 2022 and the new version since yesterday. I like it. I noticed a bug. Hopefully Amazon fixes it soon!!! No AI features here in Germany. I think it has to do with some regularities and the law. Hopefully we get it soon. For what you get, I think it's a little bit overpriced. What I really like are the white bezels around the screen. Looks so much better compared to the previous generation. I'm a happy scribe user. I love writing and reading with the Scribe. Hi, great review, thanks! I use my for sketching too. I'm planning on upgrading to the Jade when they release a 32GB version. I found the Apple Pen uncomfortable to hold as well. It's too long and skinny. I didn't have a problem with the Kindle pen, but I do have the button turned off since I kept accidentally pressing it. I like the white too, but you're right, it looks better if it had matched the white of the screen. I do wish they put more effort into the drawing app, like you mention, shades of grey. I'd like the ability to add 1 or 2 layers. You're a really good drawer! wow!

I've been able to try the Remarkable in stores. It's quite a nice device. Nothing near me carries the supernote.

Additional $50 to go to 64 GB, just for a fancy color? Frankly, I don't see the point, especially since 16 GB is more than enough. The Kindle Scribe remains a very pleasant and premium e-reader, especially thanks to the possibility of reading in landscape format with two columns. The grip is comfortable, and being able to annotate directly on the book is a major asset. The stylus, with its rubber-like eraser, is perfect, and the feeling of writing like on paper really keeps its promises. Thank you for your interesting and creative video !

Great video! I’m considering gifting one of these to a man who’s traditionally masculine. Should I get the one with jade accents or stick with black? Thanks ( I think the Jade is gorgeous!)

@@TheSmellworthyReport the jade is a deep green and quite masculine if that's important to them. The older model has all the same updates as this 2024 version and is solid black which I feel makes the screen pop more. If he does like the color green the jade would be perfect but if they have no preference then the black model works roo
