Unboxing of brandnew StuG III Ausf. G. DAS WERK Scale 1/16 + Super finished Model

In this unboxing we show every sprue and even the masterfully built model by Frank Schulz of the brand new 1:16 scale kit from DAS WERK.
The Sturmgeschütz III is one of the German weapons of the Second World War that is etched in the memory of posterity. Urgently needed in their role as front-line firepower and quicker and cheaper to produce than tanks with rotating turrets, the assault guns plugged gaps that could not have been filled any other way.
The DAS WERK brand has now once again surprised with the StuG III Ausf. G in large scale 1:16, adding another scale and another very elaborate model made of new tooling moulds to its portfolio.

In diesem Unboxing zeigen wir jeden Gussast und sogar das meisterhaft von Frank Schulz gebaute Modell des brandneuen Bausatzes von DAS WERK im Maßstab 1:16.
Das Sturmgeschütz III ist eine der deutschen Waffen des Zweiten Weltkriegs, die sich in das Gedächtnis der Nachwelt eingebrannt haben. In der Rolle als Frontfeuerwehr dringend gebraucht und schneller und günstiger zu produzieren als Panzer mit drehbarem Turm, stopften die Sturmgeschütze Lücken, die anders nicht zu füllen gewesen wären.
Die Marke DAS WERK hat mit dem StuG III Ausf. G nun im Großmaßstab 1:16 einmal mehr überrascht und sein Portfolio um einen weiteren Maßstab und ein weiteres sehr aufwendiges Modell aus neuen Werkzeugformen ergänzt.

Looks like Takoms been involved with the injection moulding on Das werks 1.16 kits! Always know a Takom sprue! There the only ones who do the square injection moulding sprues with stamped out lettering! Good though least we know its a quality plastic! The instructions screams takom aswell actually! With there own weathering effect paper!

The DW kit has errors on both ends of the vehicle. The front was already faulty on the Takom kit they copied, but the rear they have messed up all by themselves, creating a mish-mash that is neither early nor late.

fancy running in to you here. I was just thinking the same thing. their clamp configuration is a hot mess as well.

@@AdamMann3D : Yeah! I understand that MBK (that walks hand-in-hand with DW) or Andy's HH doesn't mention these issues (due to business reasons), but the rest of the kit reviews really should. It's nice to have a 1/16 StuG, but these are very basic, very stupid and VERY visible errors.

The new figures are nice for this I've got them coming for mine! I'm away to start rmfs new stug now it's stug everything the now! Das werks new 1.16 panzer 3 ausf J should be nice with the Dak markings n parts hopefully get some nice dak figures for that version Looks like there blown up Takom kit! Always know a takom sprue! Only company that does square injection moulds! don't like the contantal on the tyre's ilk maybe scrape mine off as not in scale n basic times numeral text ugly job there ment to curve the tyre n be alot larger font!
