Ive seen those before. You want to cover it with papers that you cant see through so that youre not overwhelmed and do a tiny bit at a time.

I have not done any of their paintings but I do have two of them that I would like to start at some point. None of them are Josephine wall but that said I really want to purchase one of their Josephine wall paintings. I do know that they print them in black and white I had read that before. It's almost like doing a mystery kit LOL except for you know what it's going to look like at the end you just have to get there LOL I'm fairly new to your channel and I have enjoyed the videos that I have watched so far

Yes it is right. If you go one their website it states they make their diamond painting in black and white to lower on the over whelming on the confetti. Josephine wall painting are known for confetti. Deutschland diamond painting is known for ALOT of colors. They are knowm for doing their canvas in black and white. You have to read their website carefully

I have ordered 2 Josephine Walls from them and they are black and white. Its alot of confetti and the drills are not all uniformed and glue on the canvas are not great. Lots of gapping. I did have to add some extra glue to get the drills to stick. I have taken a brake from them because they frustrated me. But from what I have done so far, the details look great. I'll finish them eventually. Just a little burned out on them.

Just pick a corner and start, chop it into squares and do it one square at at time. Inch by inch. Personally I LOVE Confetti! I find color blocks to be boring! I'd come down and help in a heart beat, but I doubt you want to fly me down from Alaska, and I'm in a wheelchair so if you have stairs at all.... I'm out of luck..... But I'd kill to work on it!

I'd be just as flustered as you to recieve that. I kept saying to myself - "return it, return it!!!" I wouldn't be able to do it. but I liked one of the suggestions to do 3x3 squares at a time with it covered in baking paper. But but but it's so without color......................................

WOW!! That is SO exciting to me! I love BIG kits. I always have trouble with light symbols on dark colors so all black symbols - LOVE! I enjoyed doing a mystery but would rather know what picture I'm gonna get. This ticks all my boxes (except maybe 200+ colors). YOU CAN DO THIS, GRACE! One drill at a time.

Copy the number list before cutting to make labels… Good luck! Use it as a big canvas that you work on sometimes when you are up to it and do others to keep yourself from getting burned out. I would freak too… maybe destash it.

I can see the two faces. On the right is the lady and on the left is the man. But I can see loads of confetti. That will take you more than one lifetime on your own. Maybe get some other diamond painters in Melbourne to help you. But I can see that is beautiful.

GOOD GRIEF THIS IS MONSTER SIZED, LIKE A MYSTERY , BUT YOU GOT A PICTURE, MIGHT GET Artdot 420 bottle case, it might fit, mine had 16 kits and completely filled it, as I finish, set up another to start from small to huge, setting drills out per canvas each one is color coded to match the itemized list, got about 4 big to huge left in my case

In case all of you don't know it, ALL J Wall pictures are ALL confetti. If there are 4 or 6 diamonds of the same color close to each other, that's considered a block of color and makes for a good minute of dotting until you go back to the single colors again.

I paused your video just as your unraveled the diamond painting. It's all black and white and not what I expected either, especially all the colour diamond packages!! I would feel overwhelmed too! I think I would approach it by replacing the plastic with baking paper from Aldi (just the width of the roll at a time) and then sectioning one 3”x3” square at a time! Gather all the colours for the symbols in that section and focus only on that small section at a time. Make a big copy of the colour version to have in front of you as you paint to remind yourself of the end goal ❤

OK, big breath! Gracie, look at the bright side - it's a GORGEOUS image! You will not have to purchase another DP for quite a while. When it is completed - it will be AMAZING! I agree that the number of AB's seems sparse - BUT the colors have a beautiful contrast ranging from earth tones to soft pastel. This painting will not really need many AB's and it will still be stunning. I know you don't know how you are going to get it DONE, but you do know how you are going to get it STARTED. Every journey begins with one step, no matter it's length. I LOVE IT! I can't wait to see it as a WIP! ENJOY!

Wow. I can't even begin to want to do one in all black and white. I just got a Josephine Wall painting from Deutschland in Germany. It's a 90x71 cm with 250 colors. Fortunately the painting is in color. Downside... it's double sided sticky tape. Good Luck to us both. 😂

I wish you lots of luck and lots of visits from Diamond Painting friends that can help you. I presume that is the reason for two tool kits. Do you have one of those large ArtDot cases? I think you’ll need it. Also what you can do is make little games within the painting e.g. decide on the section you are going to do within that day and pick out all the colours within that section. Pick a colour and do all that symbol, and keep going until you have used them all. Remember, inch by inch it’s a cinch. Rome wasn’t built in a day but what an empire🥰

I did a JW by DP Deutschland with 225 colours and after a while got used to the symbols. But they are a lot better than these here. So I bought more 😂 Good thing, DPD uses the same symbols for all their JWs. So I just keep them kitted up 😅

If you would a Josephine Wall from Diamond Painting Deutschland you also would get lots and lots of colours and it would be a doublesided tape one. Because as far as I know all their J.Walls are like that. For example their Melody in pink has 240 colours.

LUCK! I finished JWALL Dragon Charmer from same company. Mine came out beautifully after 5 months work. However, it was the most frustrating canvas I have ever worked on, especially towards the end. I work by section and keep the canvas covered except the area I am working on or those I have completed. The glue towards the end became unreliable in places and I had to use glue. I also ran out of quite a few drills and I did not like the drills. I tweaked a few areas that I thought weren’t charted right. Otherwise, my canvas was in color so I didn’t have to contend with a black and white canvas. I sealed my canvas when completed and it is now framed ready to be hung. It is gorgeous and “all’s well that ends well!” LUCK!!!

I have one of those, as well. I posted a couple videos of my experience so far. I knew what I was getting into with the black and white. You can ask for an excel file of the symbols to print larger and see them more clearly. I covered mine with release papers right away. I had some gapping, so I've been sealing as I go.
