In this episode, we will unbox some packages we received from our dear supporters.
We happily and excitedly continue to take the presents out of the box.
As we dig deeper into the box we get more bars of soap. It smells so nice.
Here in the Philippines, they usually keep thread and other sewing supplies in such beautiful cookie jars.
Mom and I also got bright colorful sneakers.
The second package came to us from the state of Minnesota (USA). We are very excited about these cool t-shirts and a sweatshirt with Minnesota written on it. The gold and maroon colors of the Minnesota Golden Gofers soccer team.
Lots of household items here: linens, curtains, rugs.
My favorite part of the house is the kitchen. I am so excited that we now have a new tablecloth, dish mats, glass cutting boards, and these beautiful lemon print kitchen towels.
Some things we decided not to unpack right now and save for our future home.
My husband is glad he got some tools. You always need a respirator, goggles and a pair of gloves.
And this is a wood carving kit. It's so nice that the kind people who sent these gifts even took care of our hobby.
For the little gardener - a small shovel, rake and gloves.
Our collection is growing. These beautiful soaps are made in Portugal. It smells like candy. And this is a coconut and lemon scented bath soap. There's also a raspberry scented gel, a lemon scented candle and sunscreen for Boria.
Then we started getting different food items out of the package: pasta, granola, peas for soup and a big bag of dried chili peppers. There's also lemon tea, and to go with it, pastry mixes for baking, a jar of apple jam, candy and chocolate.
My eyes lit up when I saw the books.
This is so touching. We are grateful to our wonderful friends for entrusting us with their personal collection of books and music CDs.
A few days later we received packages again, one big and one small.
Lots of different things inside too: Net food cover, water jug, stuffed toys, candy, toothpaste, lotions, food, soap and more.
When we left Russia, we had only a few pairs of clothes. Now there are more than enough. Most of the clothes we have now were donated by our generous friends.
Thank you to everyone who helped us in our time of need. Thank you for your love, support, wonderful messages and comments.
